Why not try fresh prawns guys...?

I just fed my JAR with 1 big fresh prawn
took out the shell, cut it into small pieces for easy swallow
wait few minutes before feed him to make sure the prawn gets more soft
then, feeding time easier la coz can swallow the prawn meats easily

1 big fresh prawn in not more than 5 minutes, bit by bit
before that eat SW somemore around 6-7 ekor

i notice my JAR & Silver kuat makan la nowadays, especially the JAR
last time i bought 1 box of SW can make it into 7 days
now only 6 days already nearly out of SW stock! rclxub.gif

Wednesday, LFS near my house close, thursday only can buy SW n feeder fish

i remember last night i fed my JAR with 1 cockroach before go to bed
so far 3 cockroach for 5 nights
i wonder why r so many cockroach nowadays aaa? before this, hard to find one

Anyone has tried to feed with market prawns?those really costly meat.

i did but he took only a few...he don like it...he loves froggies now...exp..1ringgit for 3 ....

I used market prawn for my JAR
so far no refuses, he ate all the prawn i threw in

Before u feed the prawn, here's some tips to share:-
1 - take out the prawn's shell
2 - cut it into pieces
3 - Let the prawn meat outside the fridge for roughly 10 minutes. This is to make the prawn more softer & smelly. FYI, aros like softer & smelly prawn brows.gif
4 - Use bigger prawn for better protein brows.gif . Don't use white prawn coz got NO protein. Use bigger prawn. I know it's expensive BUT you are not gonna feed 1 kilos of big prawn isn't it?

good luck cool.gif

of cos defrost, smelly no sure. ur tank will end up smelly too and contaminate. icon_idea.gif
protein same lah. next time buy those RM60 p/kl King Tiger Prawn rclxub.gif
*
CF,
i doubt the water will cloud coz i put the prawn in the fresh water 1st before give it to my JAR
plus somemore, when i put in the tank the JAR ate the prawn rightaway, no chance to drop at the bottom
I just used 2,3 prawns, last night my JAR ate 2 prawns, early night around 8pm and at 12am
love to see he ate the prawn, not missed even a single small pieces

The JAR improved much better, can put my hand outside the tank without running away
he also swam a lot on top instead of bottom tank before this

c0c0...
RM500 for your aro is damn cheap man
why not wait somemore for your aro to grow n see how much potential that guy has
n then decide lor... brows.gif

First Sample Second Sample
Don know why suddently i got a feeling of trading my fish for either 1 from these 2...which will u prefer ?
HB-RTG selling at RM1300++...will accept my fish fro RM500 and top up another RM800 from Xian Leng
Super Red price tag at RM2300...the boss havent look at my fish, so do not know the trading price.
Both beautiful fish...just dono the red will be a good breed or not and the HB-RTG already shining 5th row...heart says take both...but tank can only accept 1....if get HB have to bring fish all the way to batu pahat....red near by malacca area...confussed ! rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

If got nitrate problem, it will minor problem i guess
no wonder the fish owner put dozens of feeder fish inside wink.gif
somemore the filter of the tank must be in great condition
QUOTE(burag0 @ Jan 25 2007, 05:15 PM)
hehe got rays in d tank oso rite?
bioload very high leh
anyone of u using biohome as your filter media?http://www.aqua-bio.com/en/biohome/index.html
*
Since my tank got internal filter like FS does
i actually put the bio ring together with the liquid pump
since the internal filter has 2 separate parts, 1 for filter media & 1 for pump...

so far my JAR's getting healthier n hungrier whenever i came back from work
waiting at the surface for food drool.gif rclxm9.gif thumbup.gif
