Oh, its like that.. how about mbb2cards? No max online transaction spending and how about border fees?

Thx

if the online websites allows amex card, you could spent RM1000 and get RM50 cash back on weekends only as well as 5x points, there are no cross border fees for maybank

1. Annual Income: 100K? (No idea how they calculate annual income for business owner)

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Preferbly

3. Card required for: Utility bills, Groceries, Petrol, Insurance, Overseas Transactions, Free Lounge Access

4. Existing credit cards if any: None

5. Looking at CC from: Any (Currently had my eyes on OCBC or MBB2cards)

6. Others: Utility bills payment are kind of heavy. Per month astro is 500, TNB about 2k, Syabas 400, Telekom 400. Groceries if they'd take NSK Trade City as groceries, occasionally I can swipe up for 1k per month there.

I've even give thought to owning HLB wise for the 10% rebate then another card for the rest. Only issue is that I'm afraid I can't make up to 10 transactions per month. Usually just a few high amount of transaction.
*
mbb visa signature - petrol, groceries, free lounge access
hlb wise - tnb, syabas, telekom eg. for wise card just split your bills of RM50 and above for 10 times (payonline) and the rest of the amount you don't have to worry about it
aeon watami - insurance

It depends if there is an installment plan. If no, probably i'll pay minimum amount / as much as i can monthly till i clear the outstanding before i start swiping the card again.
*
u should do a 0% balance transfer instead of paying just the min amount

Johannas with hlb wise u would just need to spend rm500 to get rm50 as for mbb2 cards u will need to spend rm1k on weekends to get rm50 all other days u would get 5x points.

best would if you can get both cards otherwise if it just one go for mbb2 cards

aeon watami cc

take note that you have to spend rm3k in each quarter meaning in 3 months to get RM90 cash back, if you spend less that that you get nothing so this has to be your primary card nod.gif

max cash back you can get on this card each quarter is rm150

if you could spent around RM 500 a month on petrol/groceries/utlities (pick 2) + mobile, go for hlb wise and also take note of the requirement from victorywp

based on response on wise card thread, no annual fee waiver. but use first la, when 2 months (not 1 month because the rebate calculated is based on previous month) before anniversary then you consider whether you want to renew. DO NOT take wise platinum or you will pay more annual fee for no reason.
hmm is it 2 months ? u spend in aug, u will get cb in sep so just need one month only without spending then when u cancel the card nod.gif

My logic is... Aug rebate will be reflected on sept 28. then september you won't use it fully, just use it to use up august rebate. so i was thinking 2months before, should be last month of full usage.  hmm.gif
*
what do u mean by use it to use up aug rebate ?

ok i think i understand what you mean so if u stop spending and you get the extra rebates in the following month you would be thinking it's wasted so you just have to spend that exact amount and it has to be outside your category then ?

Any good credit card which offer good cash back for education (diploma in college) fee? I saw HSBC got 20% cash back but promotion over already. If not, then I think I might use MBB 2 Gold.

u will get 2x points for that still equivalent to 0.8% cashback, if you still have titanium u can use it too for 1% cashback
