how about cimb cash rebate mastercard?? any idea compare to what u suggest..coz before this i'm in consideration to pick this card..
*
but cimb cash rebate mastercard is a good option too. the only better thing about uob one is its petrol rebate 5%+2% everyday at bhp. cimb cr only 5% on first weekend only. but at least cimb have no first come first served allocation like uob.

Planning to sign up for a new CC, appreciate some input based on my info:

1. Annual Income: >RM60k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Yes

3. Card required for: Cash Back/Rebate

4. Existing credit cards if any: OCBC Titanium

5. Looking at CC from: Any MBB2Card, HL 10% (don't like the RM50x10 swipe requirement though), recommendations are welcome

6. Others: main spending (estimated from highest to lowest)
- Bills (telco, internet, utilities, housing quit rent, assessment, insurance, etc)
- Dining
- Petrol (I use public transport, so not much spent on petrol. Only on weekends, sometimes travelling)
- Others would be irregular purchases, so a card with x% rebate to all retail spend would be a bonus

Total monthly spending average around 1-2k, mostly on bills and dining.
*
you may choose aeon watami. otherwise direct replacement for ocbc titanium (which cb going to be reduced soon) will be hlb essential.

Looking to get a platinum card

1. Annual Income: Rm60k+

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Yes

3. Card required for: Petrol, Groceries, Utillities

4. Existing credit cards if any: MBB2CARD(Amex/Master) Gold

5. Looking at CC from: MBB2CARD platinum or Any platinium

6. Others: Cash Back

Platinum credit card required min annual income of 60k.
In case of monthly basic+fixed allowance around 4k, and sum up OT with total monthly income 5k+.
I'm currently hold MBB 2gold for 1 year, Is this acceptable to apply/upgrade platinum card?
*
what's your main purpose of getting/converting your existing gold card to a platinum card?

for cc from the same bank is ok. because same issuer has all your information and your new cc will just share the cl of your other cc.

exisiting is HLB conventional
new is MACH Hong leong.

I assume the 2 is.. different ?
*
yeah, if not mistaken this both is different entity too, with mach is a sub-brand of hlb.
you can't apply for mach at any hlb branches and vice versa right?

by the way what's your cl for hlb conventional vs mach?

Other than AEON CC give 3% cash rebate for insurance.

Which CC does give more than 3% cash rebate for paying insurance?

unless the insurance can be paid online, then you have more choices.

Will it approve? chances of approval?

yes its vox and one.

as for the 2 cars i buy together in 1 -2 months time so they somehow manage to cover up lol.

btw 1 of it is my mum paying and owning but use my name to loan so don feel shocked.

btw u know anyone that can do a better job to appeal for me to get a mbb card?

Thanks
*
you need to check how much loans already attached to your name under that 2 cars? i'm afraid you have already reached almost the maximum amount of loan you may borrow with an annual income of 30-36k.

anyway, since you have settled your late payment, perhaps you may try again.
