just sign up for your parents (but keep the cards to yourself). use them to swipe just in case your principal can't go through (sometimes). after get the gift, cancel those cards (or keep theem if no more gst). good idea? brows.gif

your mbb 3 cards means mbb2cards + mbb ikhwan? if not, then you can apply for ikhwan for your purpose. another choice would be aeon watami.

wanna ask if this is a good combo for my spending pattern:

RM300 -- shopping
RM300 -- petrol
RM300 -- food

Planning to switch from this (Citi Clear & Mach Credit Card) to this combo (Citi Rewards Platinum & MBB 2 Cards Platinum)

Annual income is around RM60,000.

Also, if I switch from one Citi card to another, is it possible to transfer the rewards points to the new card?
*
your shopping is departmental or grocery or combination of both?
your food means dining right? or including grocery as well?

Hi guys,

I've never applied any credit card before, so this is my first time to apply.
1. Annual Income: RM36K to RM60K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must!

3. Card required for:  Petrol, Cash Back/Rebate Only, AirMiles, Overseas Transactions, Travel

4. Existing credit cards if any: Nil.

5. Looking at CC from: I've been looking at Maybank Ikhwan, UOB One & Citibank Clear.

6. Others: Basically, I just want to use the card for emergency & travel only. But petrol and cash back/points is a bonus if got.

Cheers!

It's also mention on their promo leaflet, but only applicable for the first year.
Can you confirm that with CS, since I'm not activate my card yet?
