3. Card required for: Petrol, Education, Cash Back/Rebate, Grocery (Touch 'n Go reloads)
4. Existing credit cards if any: Citibank Clear (going to cancel soon), CIMB Platinum Mastercard (mainly just for duty-free alcohol purchases at airport), UOB Preferred Platinum Visa (staff - AF waived)
5. Looking at CC from: Looking for recommendations
6. Others: Looking for a good points program card for online usage and also a (separate) card for good petrol cash rebates (I am hitting ~RM600 per month on petrol)
If you don't mind cash back cards, then check out the FREE FOR LIFE Maybank Islamic MasterCard Ikhwan where it gives you 5% cash back for petrol and Groceries up to RM1K spending. Alternatively, if your Petrol combined with Groceries hit RM1K and it can be split to minimum 10 swipes and each swipe no less than RM50, check out HLB Wise Platinum where it gives you 10% cash back, and even after deducting annual fee, you'll still be getting 7.5% cash back.
