I'm staying in the East M'sia where most of the dining are not applicable here. It won't be much benefit if the cash back is on dining. Majority of the grocery shops are not available here sad.gif

Maybank 2 cards benefits are more on amex but in East M'sia, amex are hardly acceptable sad.gif sad.gif
*
In that Case, You can whether Upgrade Your RHB CC to Platinum OR/& Opt between Citi CB Plat. & Public Bank VS as Your 2nd CC but I think Citi CB Platinum will Served You Better...icon_idea.gif https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=67010433

Btw, You can Check on Which Place do Accept Amex in East Malaysia at: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2819336
If You still Interested to get MBB 2Cards (1 of the BEST CC now), maybe later... biggrin.gif

no point having so many cards and need to pay gst. some more, not much places I can use here.
thanks for all the advices. I guess I upgrade my RHB and apply Citibank.
Btw, is can Citibank card be waived annual fee?
*
1st Year there will be Annual Fee Waiver subject to 3x Swipes within 60 Days from the Card's Approval Date... smile.gif
As for the Subsequent years, just call-in Customer Service to Request AF Waiver, It should be No Problem to get Waiver
cost You're already a Regular User to their CC... nod.gif

ME a Citi CB Plat. (2013) & Clear (2011) CC User also NO Problem to have MY Annual Fees to Waive with just a Call... biggrin.gif

Btw, As U Asking This at RHB Thread:
QUOTE
Just curious whether it is worth it to upgrade my RHB visa classic to RHB platinum. The annual fee($500) can be killing !!

OR with an Accumulative Card Spend of RM36k p.a also can Enjoy Auto-Annual Fee Waiver... rolleyes.gif

But Anyway, I think as long You're RHB Cardholder, AF can EZly be waive by Calling CS.
cos Years ago, RHB have called me 2x Begging me to keep their CC as long as possible & with a Lifetime Fee Waiver for ME brows.gif
At the End, I just Keep the Card for Another Year but now already Cut-off due to I got 10+ Other Cards to Feed... whistling.gif

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Not Really

3. Card required for: Mainly for Petrol, Utilities, & Groceries

4. Existing credit cards if any: None

5. Looking at CC from: UOB One Card & Maybankard 2 Gold Card

shopping on weekends and also to serve as a backup if the petrol quota for UOB used up.
Good combo? Any cons?

Appreciate your kind reply.

Hi, thx for the reply.
Yes, that was the first choice of cc but after calculate it back.
I have to make minimum of rm50 which I have to ensure 10 transaction per month to entitle for the cashback.

As i don't make 10 transaction that much in a month and after much consideration,  I end up with those 2 card choices.
*
Then You Should Consider to Opt Between:

I) Maybank 2Cards https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=68551797
or
II) UOB 1 Card https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=68505615
or
III) CIMB Cash Rebate Gold MasterCard (Lifetime Fee Waiver) - 5% Cash Rebate on e-Commerce, 2% Cash Rebate on Petrol & Groceries
