I'm sorry, do you mean IPv6 would only be accessible after 10-15 minutes of authenticated into screamyx ?

If so, no. I can access IPv6 sites immediately after login.
I think the problem might be becuz the OS still retains the previous IPv6 address. (becuz a different prefix is dynamically delegated each time you connect to TM). In theory, "ipconfig /release6" and "ipconfig /renew6" into command line should solve the problem. But in my case, it doesnt work so my workaround is to go to the network's Properties and uncheck"Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) to disable IPv6. Than go back and reenable it .

Side note: I modified the script cuz there was a logic error

hmm.. so almost all (if not all of them) custom firmware like DD-WRT, OpenWRT & Tomato are not RFC6204-compliant then. Damn, did we have to use the likes of D-Link DIR-615 or Innacomm W3400V6 just to get flawless IPv6 with TM?

i think, its a YES. 2/3 days trying dd-wrt and openwrt on wr1043nd to enable ipv6 but failed. change to DIR-615 (orange TM router) and no need to config anything, succesfully get the lan/wan ipv6. which its so hard to get lan ipv6, only wan ipv6 with both firmware on 1043nd. no idea how to use with 'aftermarket' firmware.

Going thru it, I think enabling DeprecatePrefix should at least address RFC4862 Section-5.5.3 Router Advertisement Processing and should fix the 10-15min delay??? which deprecates the prefix by announcing it in the radvd shutdown

CODE
sleep 5;
service radvd restart
sed -i "/prefix/iAdvLinkMTU 1480;" /etc/radvd.conf
sed -i "/AdvOnLink/iDeprecatePrefix on;" /etc/radvd.conf
service radvd stop
if [ -f "/var/run/radvd.pid" ]; then
 rm /var/run/radvd.pid
 echo "Removing /var/run/radvd.pid";
fi
radvd -C /etc/radvd.conf

I'm not sure whether or not to enable DecrementLifetimes (default off) for RFC3633, "IPv6 Prefix Options for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) version 6".

I'm running OpenWRT Backfire on WR1043ND and don't have these symptoms. I use some scripting as a workaround. I've disabled getting IPv6 address on the WAN interface. I only want PD for LAN.

I've also created a custom script and use that with /etc/hotplug.d/ so it executes the script when the interface re-establishes. It will update my dhcp6s.conf and restart dhcp6s. For radvd you can have a fix config. Just replace the prefix field with '::/64' so it will substitute with whatever PD /64 you get on the LAN side.

Both dhcp6s and radvd have low lease time, so the client gets a new lease as soon as possible.

I also added a second ipv6 default route for redundant purposes and the route is 2000::/3 because I notice sometimes the current default route(remote link-local address fe80::/10) goes missing or removed whenever connection is re-established. So adding another route entry 2000::/3 as backup helps keep my connection active.

On dnsmasq changelog
QUOTE
version 2.68
Fix problems when advertising deleted IPv6 prefixes. If the prefix is deleted (rather than replaced), it doesn't get advertised with zero preferred time.

I don't think you should update without nvram flush unless you are certain.

I might try the latest version of toastman's build just to try out dnsmasq instead of radvd for RA

Its not up to date but should at least give you an idea
Mostly should be feature differences but its open source so other authors borrow code from others

In my situation, only local hosted website are accessible with IPV6. When I try to open international website, it loads forever. No idea whether it's my exchange/BRAS are not IPV6 ready yet or it lies between my hardware itself... sweat.gif

I've tried mine but still have the same fail status as the rest . I'm right now using HE Tunnelbroker via Singapore node for IPv6 connectivity and so far it's working atm.

Oh, this problem again? It is highly likely pMTU problems. Lower IPv6 MTU to 1450, or 1280 if you have Android devices in the network.

wanna to ask, is the /64 provided static? As I'm planning to use cloudflare's ipv6 to ipv4 so that I can access my computer from anywhere and I don't want ending up accessing other people's computer because of the change in the /64 as you reboot your router

It's not static unless you're on a business account.
