I remember someone say Android 4.3 always turn on Wifi to detect your position and load some apps for you in the background so that you can open the apps faster. hmm.gif

I think the info not accurate. Supposed to be 2.3GHz. Just download CPU-Z apps from Playstore.

Congratz bro. Maybe you're first person in my company having Note 3. rclxms.gif

for those suggesting to go to SC for one to one replacement, it doesn't always work that way. problems with the screen or bezel they will just replace the parts for you. unless your unit is really a major issue then maybe yes. reason why it's plasticky it's because they have replaceable parts and they can change it instead of taking your whole unit in and refurbished, repackage, resell.
*
Samsung just now ask me to thank you for your words. biggrin.gif

Hi..

I just check my unit found at the top left, just below the corner there is slight "bengkok" ..it is normal of defect..

Thanks
*
To me, it looks normal for a plastic chassis.

Only iPhone have perfect chamfered aluminium chasis.

If no 1-to-1 exchange, I'll just keep it. I won't go and change bezel. Later got dust inside my screen. laugh.gif

QUOTE(h11g @ Oct 3 2013, 12:24 PM)
if u didnt cause it by dropping ur phone definitely defect~!
*
I think I saw this type of quality before. I think its ok as long as there's no space between screen and chassis.

I think the BENGKOK BEZEL is way too over already... Did all of you assure it is really bengkok or due to light source reflection? doh.gif

-----------------------------------------------------------------
Another I notice kind some users(not here)/reviewer complaining on heavy change by Samsung in UI compare with stock. Is it really so?

I find Samsung TouchWiz (since S III) is the most near to stock, Sony UI is nice but it never like stock look, HTC wise is big change from stock, completely no stock feel.

Some said Samsung icon really cartoonist? Is it? I don't think so, it is not stock look - yes, none manufacture use stock look icon either. I don't feel Samsung icon is cartoonist. It is well build quality icon. Same as Sony icons and HTC icons, all well build with it own identity look.
*
About the bezel, I think I see it before. I think its ok one.

About TW UI, I also support you. It is stock already. Just need to remove all unnecessary widget causing the lag.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Oct 3 2013, 12:29 PM)
Is obviously a defect !!
*
I seem to agree with Andrewtst that it is not a big deal.

I saw this type of chassis before and it is normal for plastic chassis due to manufacturing mold.

If change bezel, better don't. Later dust easy go in.

How? 1-to-1 exchange can or not? Else, change bezel, workmanship can guarantee later dust won't go under the screen? icon_question.gif

If its just aesthetic, it looks fine for a plastic chassis phone.

You got a point here.

Changing the bezel would allow dust to get into the device if not done properly.

But not changing might degrade my resale value later

Hard choice
*
If wanna change 1-to-1, I suggest one whole group that think they got defective bezel to go and make noise in Samsung centre. hmm.gif

There are a number of users (me included) have this kind of bengkok. Its an anomaly but whether or not its a defect its up to you hehe
Its not caused by a drop.
Its not due to light. Only noticeable when you look really closely but if you slide your fingernail across the bezel you can feel a slight bump.
*
Sound like some plastic casing I bought from pasar malam that have slight bump.

I think its very normal for plastic to have this kind of bump.

But of course, RM2299 phone chassis is different case. hmm.gif

How does a slight bump to the bezel affect your experience with the phone?

From my S3 to my Note 2 and even now my Note 3, all have had slight bumps to the bezel.

As long as there are no annoying creaks coming from the battery cover, I'm happy.
*
You have just proved my theory that all plastic chassis phone cannot get away from this plastic chassis slight bump.

Unless Samsung start to use aluminium or better plastic (like Nokia Lumia), slight bump are here to stay.

Conclusion:-
Its not a defect.

QUOTE(jun88 @ Oct 3 2013, 12:45 PM)
My unit never drop..i am very carefull owner..
Should i go to SC or Head office to complaint.

TQ
*
No. Because a Samsung user say this slight bump is normal from S3 to Note 2 and now appear in Note 3.

I think Aluminium phone is more susceptible to bump sweat.gif

Plastic is elastic, that bump looks like a manufacturing fault or some clip is not clipped properly to the frame.
*
I think you misunderstand what is a bump in this context.

We're talking about bump that is manufacturing defect. Not aluminium phone bumping to surrounding causing scratching. laugh.gif

Aluminium phone does not have bump because it is cut to perfection. tongue.gif
