I bought a new TPU case, quicksand type. It can fit with the back cover on but not as perfectly without the back cover. Its is safe to just leave a case on without the back cover? The TPU case seems so cover and snugly fit even sticking to the back of the battery etc. There seems to be no NFC component on the back cover as well. Any one done this before or have any thoughts? Thx

I must say, the camera impressed me A LOT. Better than Note 2. Even with shaky hands, I can take good photos. But with Note 2, it produce miserable ressult. tongue.gif

My note 3 vibrate very soft.. was using Sony Xperia last time. The vibrator soft until when i put the phone inside my pocket and hit the phone using hand , i can feel it vibrate abit . Maybe Samsung Vibrate softer compare to Sony.
*
Go to Setting > Device tab > Sound > vibration intensity

From there you can set your vibration intensity for each different types of events. In fact I find that Note 3 vibration is too strong till I can hear it instead of feeling it. I have lower down the intensity. Not sure how strong you want.

I am not sure about Note2.
But for galaxy note 3 pictures, it looks really nice when view at original size.
However, when zoomed, I can see heavy image processing and filtering technique applied.
especially obvious on the human skin part.
The effect is less obvious under good light condition, and become more obvious on low light condition.
I think this technique makes the photo looks nice on the first look, and every1 is excited about it.
but if you zoom in, you realize the blurring effect.

Anyway, any1 know how to take RAW photo with note 3?
Without the image processing and filtering. Is it possible?

Only XiaoMi Mi-3 support RAW format.

Photo is means to view full page not zooming.

Want every single details, get a decent DSLR, you can zoom as big as you like. smile.gif

Without filtering, in such small sensor, you only see noise instead object. Samsung filtering still ok, you go see Sony one, later you vomit. Hehe...

ic... thanks for the info.
as I don't have others Sony phone to compare.

Still thinking about Sony QX10, but theVerge gives very low score only.
I have DSLR but it is too cumbersome to bring out everytime. (noob DSLR with stock lense)

After I see sample output, I don't feel it worth getting QX10 also. The quality is not really there.

QX100 is nice but quite expensive.

QX100 too big and expensive...

Well, I am quite impressed with the slo-mo video. (the speed is good but not the quality)
It is really slow motion! My monitor is capable of OC to 120hz.
Thanks to Note3 video I can quite confirm my monitor OC is real and no frame skipping.

Video below shoot with Note3 @ 720p with slow motion feature

SOLUTION FOUND
---------------------

If any TPU rigid type cases that is little to tight to fit, pour boiling water and soak for 30 seconds, stretch the case a little and repeat step if needed. Snugly fits now.
