China brand Android product is dying. Quality and branded product selling at low low price like Nexus. I don't think China product can survive anymore.

Back to XZU, the LTE price is low because XZU already out for long time and they make Z1 the new flagship. Unfortunately as you commented in Z1 thread, Z1 fail to live up to its expectation as flagship camera phone. Small screen + ok only camera. Note 3 will destroy Z1. XZU is different. Its different category altogether. A niche one at that.

Yes. Xzu is a niche product. Closest competitor would be Mega which is consider as mid/low end phone.

As for now, Z Ultra is one of it's kind.

I admit the part about Z1, screen is not acceptable for a 2013 flagship phone and the camera is nothing to shout about.

Mainly due to Sony want consumer focus on Z1. Not sure if Sony will bring the docomo Z1f to masses.

Since XZU 3G RRP is 2299 and u get it for 1850, and now LTE is 2199, can you ask ur dealer if can get at 1750 for LTE version?

Yeah, nothing can fight XZU in its high end huge screen category.

LTE is not even here yet.. plus i have no intention to upgrade to LTE, coz its 99% the same thing except for LTE ability! furthermore, RM2199 for LTE model, i think Sony has tried to push the price low already. normal phone shop should be selling slightly above RM2k, and in a month time should be RM1900+ only. that is very cheap for a LTE model

Me too. My UM doesnt have lte yet plus I'm happy with the speed result. I go as high as 19 mbps before. Not an big issue for me.

The only thing that the xzu needs for its future upgrade is a flash for the camera and a better up to date lens with the competition. Perhaps to have more market share an active digitiser like note 3 but for me I never touched the pen so not much use. Perhaps if they can squeeze a few more cm of screen size with smaller bezel eg 7in screen then nobody will buy a 7in tablet anymore.

AP has the same build quality as any other local units. The only difference is the warranty. DirectD is a very reputable seller in this forum.
