I went to lowyat quote the price just now at noon, ZU LTE around RM2050. But no stock at all.

Have done a lot of background reading with Android SOD issues, which a lot of people claims is coming from Android deep-sleep mode.
Have tried a lot of things with my XZU, including a CPU keep-awake app (Wake My Android Pro) to prevent the XZU from deep sleep.
It works, until situation 1 and 2 is triggered, which totally defeats the whole multimedia experience of the XZU.
To prevent the Fake Hang / SOD, I constantly had to restart the XZU after the gaming / youtube sessions, which surprisingly helps to prevent Fake Hang / SOD

The XZU is a superbly brilliant device !
Only hope that Sony upcoming firmware updates (if any) can resolve this major stability issue...

To cool down the phone, simply put it under the tap water (or put an ice on the back) for 60 seconds. I wonder why you spend hours to cooldown? Your first water proof phone?

Do you still have the Sleep of Death (SOD) problem?

I plan to get one but I scare of it. I knew the latest firmware didn't help.

Got my LTE version from Sony Center Lowyat ground floor, ori black. RM2199 including screen protector, flip/stand casing and 8 GB Ram. Not really a good deal but the seller at second floor quote me 2150 without anything also.

I tried the display quality with my Acro S. Test video is this one:

Really sad to say, with triluminos and x reality, the XZU still can't outperform XAS (Bravia Engine) in terms of color.

Acro S gives a better green and red.

Sony Center Lowyat Plaza ground floor gave magnetic flip case.

Thing is, with any casing, the DK30 dock is not working anymore.

Without case, the phone is sexy but vulnerable.

And for the screen argument, XZU is really bad. I don't have to mention the good things of XZU because I am not writing review for the phone now. My xperia acro S has better color and my xperia Arc has better brightness. But I still like it. happy.gif

What is IPS panel and VA panel? Brand name? Will one day a batch of Z1 use IPS panel or XZU start to use IPS panel since it is not stated anywhere else in Sony materials.

Does anyone here read the lowyat forum with their XZU since this page is quite heavy to load?
