I am beginning to like Zardoc. Frontline fatties plus half damage rounded solves quite a bit of issues in the current meta (I just outplayed an Ishuma by blocking the entire front row - nothing he could do at all). If it gets too late, his special makes for some very cautious play by the opponent, especially when life is down to low single digits.

Won some jackpot games with it, only lost once due to a timeout issues with that deck.

However, still facing issues with fortune solitaire decks. Bastards.

Our Five Towers Expansion was released last Thursday to a flurry of feedback both constructive and critical. We have heard positive reactions on new features such as the possibility to use the same card in multiple decks. This change is already a fan-favorite and, combined with the Altar of Wishes from the Forgotten Wars series, helps to make Duel of Champions as close to a traditional card game as it’s ever been.

Recent changes to the game have led our team to review the amount of Wildcards given out with each pack and box. The ability to place cards in multiple decks makes the need for individual card purchasing less essential to be competitive. We agree with the sentiment that we should have been more transparent on this decision. To apologize to players who were saving up their seals or wildcards, a new promotion will let you benefit from 50% more Wildcards in all four expansion boxes (Void Rising, Herald of the Void, Forgotten Wars and Five Towers). This promotion will end on Wednesday, December 18 (3pm UTC).

In addition to this, many of you experienced lag, game timeouts, or even lost your Daily Rewards streak. To us, this is not acceptable. As promised, we will be compensating our community for the network issues that followed our latest release. All players connecting to the game between now and Friday, December 20 (3pm UTC) will receive 200 seals and 1 tournament ticket. We hope that this will help you recover from the server setbacks during our launch period.

Worth it to get 5T box? There are some good cards, but alot of crappy cards as well.

Not sure which box to get now. I've got almost 1.4k seals saved up now with the free 200 given out today.

depends on what are you looking forwards to, wildcards or cards to complete your deck

if you need a few main cards that is missing, get the wild cards to complete your deck (but make sure you have enough)

if you need a lot of cards to complete your deck, buy other sets that can help you to complete your deck, hotv having the best cards besides base set i guess...FW if you are playing haven

The FT for now still seems underwhelming to me. Duels so far I've not seen any FT cards being used in a manner which are key e.g. Thrones/Cosmic, Decay/Banshee/Atropos etc.

So if your base/VR/HOTV/FW is still not up to par, go for those first.

Anyways, I am loving OTK Asalah & Hakeem Mill. Nice to play different decks for a change rather than the usual Adar/Kelthor/Cassandra/Crag/Ishuma crowd.

best cards would be the unique towers, price of the void (debatable), and maybe war tents, lul

creatures not very sure yet...

imo price of the void is good for heroes that has no access to dispel against u know might of nature or strength of the sea

fighting otk with price of the void seems not like a very good tactic though, and also, using malik, most of the time can kill buffed up sots mobs, might of nature depends and light of tomorrow is certainly great to be able to get rid of

as for being an otk deck, getting rid of sots is always good

i may make my deck a 62 card deck with 2 price of the void and a gardner tower, but it may seem to slow down my deck tempo? dunno, but collecting the WC for now to see how it works...lul

also, swiss looks like has been disabled until further notice...XD

opinion is that...HS feels lacking comparing to DOC, feels like it's missing something unlike the first time i played DOC, maybe perhaps buying packs are so much slower i guess? and furthermore, you only get 5 cards a pack...not that it's really an issue i guess cause if doc uses 60 cards, gives 12 cards, HS should be similar if cut by half...XD

well, anyway, DOC is much more interesting i guess in short, but more hype to HS

i think scrolls are more fun than HS too, maybe because there's more depth too...watching HS is more fun than playing it i think, lul
