time to change new shoes for my V spec.

planning to upgrade the size on stock rims.

195/50R16?
Or 205/50/R16?
Any recommendation guys?

Personally i think 185 abit narrow, slightly bumpy when driving at high speed.

I changed my stock tires to 205/50/16, never looked back. Better turning and handling.

Going lower profile is not going to get it better..
I'd suggest 195/55 but with a softer compound..

do you have any pics of what the 205/50R16 tires look like mounted on the stock rims?

what about rubbing issue when uneven road? 205/50 is what I'd like to use if they don't lead to rubbing issues.

I wouldn't recommend to use stock rims as it would make you tire look like donuts.

I have heard some of old-timers (otai) said that for Jazz, semi-synthetic 5w30 is the best. Salesman/technician will offer full synthetic of course because it is the most expensive.

Even if you check the official Honda Malaysia website in maintenance, the price for engine oil replicate the price of mineral engine oil.

So I assume for Jazz engine mineral type engine oil is sufficient enough. My question, is choosing semi synthetic over fully synthetic is the right choice? In terms of cost of course.

The problem here is that the fully synthetic oil in honda is a thinner 0w-20 viscosity oil while the semi and mineral are both 5w-30. So, it will be not so fair a comparison.

The 0w-20 does not feel to be very long lasting. I change it out at around 5k mileage. But, given the price of it at a little less than RM100 per bottle. It is hugely cheaper than most fully synthetic oils. In fact, it is only some RM10 or RM20 on top of the blue bottled semi synthetic oil.

How is 0w-20 if cheaper than RM100 per bottle? At Honda SC the price of fully synthetic oil after GST is RM129. It is recommended for Jazzers to use 5w-30 and semi is enough right.
