Do you guys have any idea how much GE modulo ori bodykit w/o spoiler cost nowadays? Since GK model ady out...
*
Not cheap even if it can still be found. Side skirts are like 1k already for both sides.

Try to ask hingan and see if this bodyparts can still be bought?

nope, it doesn't. you can ask your honda salesman which accessories shop they recommend you to go.
*
Can find in lyn also. Just search autolock, it's an obd2 device. Have many types, some better design than others. You cam choose froom foot brake, speed sensing or shift to D type locks.

Thinking to change the light to white color any recomanded shop and price ? My one come with day running led light.
*
You can always buy phillips crystal or diamond vision and swap it yourself.

Look for mayalab in lyn.

Headlights should be H4, Position lights T10, fog lights H11. Your owners manual should have listed it down in the last few pages.

Thanks nm7, this is good info. I have been quite happy with Osram before although never replaced them myself.

I wonder if anyone's done an LED upgrade yet.
*
Nightbreaker plus?

Proper LEDs like extreme ultinon are very expensive. Cheap ones are never as bright it seems.

Even if it has the brightness, it costs more than halogen bulbs.

As much as I like the Nightbreakers, they so far have lasted only around a year per bulb on average for me. And I don't drive much at night. I'm hoping for longer life from the LED upgrades, with the added bonus of extra light output.

However you're right about the price though, there's more value from the Nightbreaker/Diamond vision. The LEDs I've looked at are very expensive comparatively.
*
They burn brighter at the expense of lifespan. That is a fact you have to accept. Mine also didnt last that long but it still went for over 2 years before one of it konked out.

I am not sure if LED are brighter. The color temp seems to make it seem brighter though.

Nightbreaker plus isn't really that white isn't it?

LEDs are supposed to be brighter, around 2400 lumens each compared to around 1500lm on halogens and close to 3000lm on HID/xenon. Of course this is based on specs, not measured biggrin.gif so actual light output especially on a reflector not optimized for LED will be less. I also read that the heat produced by LEDs will over time reduce the brightness as well.

The Nighbreakers are close enough to white, much whiter than OEM halogens but I've never tried the Philips before. Let me contact this mayalab person and buy a set biggrin.gif
*
I have the improved xtreme vision plus for dips which seemed whiter than the older one which has around the same color temp as the nightbreaker plus.

Also have the crystal vision for fog lights. The crystal vision is definitely a lot whiter.

Oh thx for the info, but u have no idea how to replace them @@ lol

Philips diamond is all approve by jpj?
*
If you want to DIY. It is very easy, your owners manual has instructions. Just go read it. The position lights just requires a turn on the holder and it comes out. The dips requires pulling off the weather shield rubber and holder can be pulled out.

Fogs however will require a screwdriver to remove the cover and entire fog lamp. Don't forget to use gloves in handling the bulbs.

The bulbs will not cause trouble as they are not HID conversions and neither are they those odd color temperatures. I've ran them for as long as they have existed and i have not gotten stopped because of it for once.

will doing 1-4 void the warranty & free service agreement?
*
Doing anything will void warranty for certain parts of the car. Free service has got nothing to do with anything.

Of course, you pandai pandai la. If can take off any suspected mods that can get you in trouble before going into service center for claims. You do so la.

Only no. 3 kinda hard to revert to stock conditions especially if you change rims, if you jus change out of spec tires. They can't do nothing since tires are wear and tear items. The rest is very easy i guess.

Yes definitely ask around. I got RM5,500 discount back in June not including the Smart TAG and few smaller items. Also ask around when trading in, the difference of 1-2k can be huge.

Other accessories/mods:

1. dashcam. I bought a BlackVue but there are a lot of cheaper ones. There's a separate thread on dashcams elsewhere.

2. DRL, if you have the V-spec, adding DRL is about RM240 or so since the cabling is already there.

3. new wider tires. The existing 185/55 R16 on my V looks a bit skinny and that's before the body kit biggrin.gif 195/50/16 on the same rims would be just nice, and would probably be quieter too but I need to find some extra money in my pockets first biggrin.gif

4. LED bulb replacements for all internal map/dome lights. On my todo list, haven't started yet...
*
How much is the blackvue in malaysia. The prices are freakin expensive or did you buy it from overseas online?

For interior lights. Can try this if you want white lights
http://www.lelong.com.my/canbus-led-parkin...7-01-Sale-I.htm

Bought some from him as the quality of the t10 contacts looks very solid. Unfortunately only white LEDs. Would have preffered a bit warmer colors. Gotten the t10 for the boot lights and some 31mm cob festoons for the room and map lights.

I bought a few of them several years ago from overseas, one for each car. Yeah it's freaking expensive in Malaysia sad.gif

The cheap ones are just as good now though, I'm seriously thinking of getting a cheap G1W for the back as well, but have to figure out where to tap power from.
*
So, you tap power directly from ciggie lighter or you plugged into ciggie lighter.

Yeah. The cheap ones are the same. Just blackvue always look slicker.

As of now plugged directly only. I haven't bothered to tap directly. The cable can be semi hidden around the top windshield area but I didn't want to bother hiding the cables under the dash/carpet so for now it's still hanging biggrin.gif Will have to take a few hours to hide the cable maybe this long weekend...
*
Yeah. It's a lot of work jus to tidy it.

I think i am sold, personally i think Jazz is a bit sportier than the City, more like koup sweat.gif maybe that's how i see it.

In term of resale value, how do you guys think Jazz will fare against City?

Btw, 1 more question. Is there any of you who get the V package along with the Mugen body kit? Do they change the rim from V variant to the Mugen body kit rim as well according to the Jazz Mugen pamphlet?

like this:

Any recommended SA with the highest rebate and freebies that you guys know?  sweat.gif

The suspension setup of both cars are quite different. Jazz is more harsh but planted, City more plush but not as planted.
*
Actually both cars uses the same damper and springs.

Most likely the less than 100kg difference and weight balance that make it feel a bit different.

weird. I have both at home, and the difference it terms of stiffness is quite obvious. Small bumps that requires the Jazz to slow down to a halt in order not to jolt the rear passengers can be passed at moderate speed without braking by City

Maybe the geometry is different?
*
It could be. It is largely still based on the same base chassis i think. So it is just a matter of how weight is thrown around. There is certainly less weight around the rear end on a Jazz.

That's really tempting, what's the biggest rim size Jazz can fit? Can go up to 17"?
*
I am running 17" with 205/45/r17 tires. Scrapes the inside fender a bit on big hits or very heavy front end dive on braking after lowering it a little.

I know someone who ran 18" but it really a stretch and tires are costly as it is super low profile with limited choices.

Anyone out there running on 205/50/16 on stock rim or after market rim? If after market, what is the offset? Really intend to upgrade the ride. Tq
*
Why don't you stick to stock size or just go up to 195. It might not be the most optimal in terms of sidewall height but you reduce the risk if you are afraid of problems.
