As much as I like the Nightbreakers, they so far have lasted only around a year per bulb on average for me. And I don't drive much at night. I'm hoping for longer life from the LED upgrades, with the added bonus of extra light output.

However you're right about the price though, there's more value from the Nightbreaker/Diamond vision. The LEDs I've looked at are very expensive comparatively.

LEDs are supposed to be brighter, around 2400 lumens each compared to around 1500lm on halogens and close to 3000lm on HID/xenon. Of course this is based on specs, not measured so actual light output especially on a reflector not optimized for LED will be less. I also read that the heat produced by LEDs will over time reduce the brightness as well.

The Nighbreakers are close enough to white, much whiter than OEM halogens but I've never tried the Philips before. Let me contact this mayalab person and buy a set

Yes definitely ask around. I got RM5,500 discount back in June not including the Smart TAG and few smaller items. Also ask around when trading in, the difference of 1-2k can be huge.

Other accessories/mods:

1. dashcam. I bought a BlackVue but there are a lot of cheaper ones. There's a separate thread on dashcams elsewhere.

2. DRL, if you have the V-spec, adding DRL is about RM240 or so since the cabling is already there.

3. new wider tires. The existing 185/55 R16 on my V looks a bit skinny and that's before the body kit 195/50/16 on the same rims would be just nice, and would probably be quieter too but I need to find some extra money in my pockets first

4. LED bulb replacements for all internal map/dome lights. On my todo list, haven't started yet...

I bought a few of them several years ago from overseas, one for each car. Yeah it's freaking expensive in Malaysia

The cheap ones are just as good now though, I'm seriously thinking of getting a cheap G1W for the back as well, but have to figure out where to tap power from.

As of now plugged directly only. I haven't bothered to tap directly. The cable can be semi hidden around the top windshield area but I didn't want to bother hiding the cables under the dash/carpet so for now it's still hanging Will have to take a few hours to hide the cable maybe this long weekend...

I think i am sold, personally i think Jazz is a bit sportier than the City, more like koup maybe that's how i see it.

In term of resale value, how do you guys think Jazz will fare against City?

Btw, 1 more question. Is there any of you who get the V package along with the Mugen body kit? Do they change the rim from V variant to the Mugen body kit rim as well according to the Jazz Mugen pamphlet?

The suspension setup of both cars are quite different. Jazz is more harsh but planted, City more plush but not as planted.

weird. I have both at home, and the difference it terms of stiffness is quite obvious. Small bumps that requires the Jazz to slow down to a halt in order not to jolt the rear passengers can be passed at moderate speed without braking by City

Maybe the geometry is different?

That's really tempting, what's the biggest rim size Jazz can fit? Can go up to 17"?

Anyone out there running on 205/50/16 on stock rim or after market rim? If after market, what is the offset? Really intend to upgrade the ride. Tq
