QUOTE(nomokiru @ Apr 9 2015, 01:27 AM) Hi, does anybody know how to prepare an itinerary as part of the documents required for Canada Visa application? Is it really necessary for submission? Where are you going in Canada? Which part? What is your plans there? Where are you staying? Basically list out where you'll be and what you'll be doing for your stay in Canada.

QUOTE(merci @ Jul 22 2015, 08:51 AM) Hi,e In addition to the old passport, mycard and cash - Do I need any forms to fill? I browsed the webpage but only 1 form available for new application or lost passport. Is this the form for renewal also? Thanks There's a tiny form to fill up when you are there. No need to pre-print/fill it. Very simple form that can be taken from the counter. Bring a pen. Wear appropriate shirt for taking photo.

QUOTE(alygonecrazy @ Jul 24 2015, 01:46 PM) when applying for china visa here in KL, do i need the actual proof of when i'm going? because i will go to china via bus from hanoi and the bus ticket cannot be bought online(must buy in hanoi), so technically i won't have the actual ticket. but i have the flight ticket of leaving china. the most important thing is they need to know that i'll leave their country right? Last I applied, they needed our flight tickets and hotel bookings. QUOTE(ronnie @ Jul 25 2015, 06:36 PM) If I'm not mistaken, cash only.

QUOTE(Sanj11 @ Sep 15 2015, 11:40 AM) Hi guys, I will be traveling to Canada within the next 2-3 months. Due to my overloaded job responsibilities, I'm keen on engaging any tour agencies that could help me out with the visa application in a prompt and effective manner. Appreciate if any of you could advice me on which tour agencies shall I engage and what are the charges associated with the mentioned service. Thank you. Better try to get it done ASAP. The nearest place to get Canadian visa is in Singapore and it takes hella long to get a response back from them. I'm sure most travel agencies are able to do it for you for a fee. I'm not sure how much they charge but it's not a straightforward process to do it ourselves. So be prepare to pay for it. QUOTE(Kesh1018 @ Sep 24 2015, 01:03 PM) Anyone here know the total charging fee for a China visa? https://www.visaforchina.org/KUL_EN/general...ge/264467.shtml

QUOTE(coolkidz @ Feb 25 2016, 09:51 AM) Hi all, I have a question that need experts advise. If for example my full name is Gerard Lan Wei Yuan, based on the results I searched from the thread it seems the naming will be as below: Last name: Lan First name: Gerard Wei Yuan/ Wei Yuan Gerard Question will be for first name does it matter how the Christian name be in front/back? Will it affect to certain application e.g. membership on Frequent Flyer/Visa application/boarding pass? E.g. boarding pass name print as LAN/ WEIYUANGERARDMR or Lan/ GERARDWEIYUANMR which will be accepted? Appreciate much help here. Thanks a lot. Just use Gerard. Forget about your Chinese name. And no, most of the time it doesn't matter either way.

QUOTE(coolkidz @ Mar 2 2016, 11:18 AM) Hi, So it doesn't matter how will be the naming arrangement be as long my passport name and shown are the same right? Then I have no worries Thanks a lot for your feedback and appreciate it. Just make sure your surname is under "Last Name" or "Family Name" and you'll be fine. My name is, as per your example, Lan Wei Yuan Gerard. I have had my boarding passes printed out as "Lan/Gerard", "Lan/Wei Yuan Gerard" and "Lan/Gerard Wei Yuan". So far no issues but I try to stick to left to right, so "Lan/Wei Yuan Gerard". In your case, maybe stick to "Lan/Gerard Wei Yuan"

QUOTE(LumiaFanboy @ Mar 6 2016, 09:04 PM) Guys I have a question. My password expiry date is on 29 September 2016; and I'm leaving for Taiwan on 15 March 2016. I understand it needs to have at least 6 months validity. Based on government calculation, is my password valid? :0 Can travel until 29th March. Some say coming back past that date shouldn't be an issue. I'm not sure though.

QUOTE(SkyHermit @ Mar 26 2016, 09:37 PM) I made my passport on 5 November 2014 and it expires on 5 November 2016. I will go to Australia for 9 days from 17 May 2016 onwards. As far as I know the passport must be valid for at least 6 months before holder performs any journey abroad. So do I need to renew my passport before going to Australia? Yes.

QUOTE(Flaxnot @ Jul 24 2016, 02:43 PM) Hi guys! I'm a prospective traveler interested in touring New Zealand in its near entirety. Throughout my stay there, I plan on working part time to help fund my kiwi endeavours such as bungee jumping, white water rafting and what not. But here's the catch, I'd like to begin my travels in December 2016 as the flight prices are substantially lower then. However, application slots for the Travel and Work VISA opens up only on the 20th of January 2017. My question is if it is possible that I apply for a Travel VISA now,so that I can fly to New Zealand in December. And while there, I can apply for a Travel AND Work VISA so that I can continue my stay there semi-employed. Thank you for any and all advice. You might probably find better answers in the NZ Working Holiday thread. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...&hl=new+zealandQUOTE(kangaroos_kang @ Jul 25 2016, 12:06 PM) he mentioned the work visa only opens Jan2017. that's means Dec2016 still having holidays (not working part-time). correct me if im wrong. thks Yea, I just re-read his post. He doesn't need a visa to enter as a tourist but he can stay maximum 3 months there.

QUOTE(HL_O @ Jul 27 2016, 12:53 PM) My name follows a pretty common way of a typical Chinese way (eg Wong Ai Lin where surname is Wong and a first name is Ai Lin). However, according to the Malaysian passport machine readable code (MRZ), there is no << sign that separate my surname and first name in the standard way. Hence the visa issued to me has my full name (eg Wong Ai Lin) as surname and left my given name blank! All the official documents that I can think of are putting full name without explicitly stating surname and first name....What kind of proof can I give to rectify this change? Anyone has faced this problem before? Your input is greatly appreciated. What visa is that? Our Malaysian passport has never state surname or given name. For all official documents/visa applications and what not, I'll fill in my surname and given name accordingly. If no forms to fill, the officer will usually ask which is my surname.

QUOTE(xGalGirlx @ Aug 21 2016, 12:30 AM) Read a news this morning on some chinese newspaper and it says that China won't allow Malaysians to go through custom/into their country for those using passports made in year 2014 and above unless you still have those old passports with you ( Eg year 2012/2013 ) and you need to bring along that. Who will keep those old passports with them.. My parents called those in charge in travel and tours and they said it's true and they're also having headache due to that problem. Anyone can clarify this? Ive no idea about the news but it's a good habit to keep all your old passports even if they are expired. Some visa applications requires all your previous passports.
