If I subscribe the HK/China/Taiwan package, those XXtro channels like Discovery HD, History HD etc etc will be under the free content folder or paid content folder ??

once you subscribe then you can have a subscribe folder where u can access to all these channel. Its not astro channel.. they are capturing satellite data from all over the world. You will get discovery channel HD i think in 480p but some you will get the subtitle as vietnam character. BTW you cant compare this to astro... they doesnt allow you to change language or change subtitle.

If you want to subscribe it to watch football matches like Premier League, forget about it. Most of the channels are low bitrate and lag at most of the time. Worst, it's not working at some time.

I use my Macbook and connect to TV and watch HD on stream (Ronaldo7.net) in REAL TIME, which is totally sync/faster with LiveScore. Even Astro Supersport are 3 minutes slower than the actual time of the match.

If you want to watch those channel for FREE you can install TVAPP
http://www.tvapp.so/
Support Windows, MAC, Android
Some more got Korean and Japanese channels and most are in SD or almost HD
Used to pay USD9.39 myself.

Okay, just rechecked and the site is back up and was able to download the latest version available for android. Initial testing on my tablet seems okay, switching channels is fast, smooth and I love the swipe up and down as volume control. Seems though it caters to more non-English channels. Tested FYI, NBA HD, CNN, and History channel and got smooth playback with quality of around 480p. It does require a lot of unnecessary permissions.

Hey, I encountered the same issue as you did. Bet you weren't using Google Chrome browser on android to download the apk. Visiting the site from Chrome on android, allows you to download the apk file. Let me know if that still doesn't work & i'll put up a download link of the apk file.

yep, that's what i found out after several tries with diff links and direct dl on android browser.

doesn't work with android boxes.

looks like it works with phones and tablets only.

which is interesting... how does it differentiate?

reminds me of hypptv evreywhere that once used to work on android boxes but no longer.

someone got clever! biggrin.gif

Hmmm.... Works as expected on my tablet. How about editing the build.prop temporarily on an android box to match a nexus device? Changing the android version, model and product brand?
