Sure its not full 1080P but its of very good HD quality. CloudTV recommends at least 4Mbps, I’m using Unifi's 5Mbps and it streams fantastic with no buffering and doesn’t disturb browsing/downloading/youtube streaming on my other 5 wifi connected devices. Should you choose to subscribe, better you sign up for the Chinese package rather than the English only package. This is cuz, the Chinese package is cheaper and also contains lots more English channels than the English only package.
I'd like CloudTV to improve by adding more English channels and improving to full HD though that might call for upgrading to the 10Mbps package.

No need, just download the apk from their website, install on ur device and you'll be given 24 hours free testing of all premium channels. If you are satisfied, simply subscribe and make payment thru card or PayPal. 1 mth subscription should be enough for further testing, if you remain undecided after the free trial.

Okay, just rechecked and the site is back up and was able to download the latest version available for android. Initial testing on my tablet seems okay, switching channels is fast, smooth and I love the swipe up and down as volume control. Seems though it caters to more non-English channels. Tested FYI, NBA HD, CNN, and History channel and got smooth playback with quality of around 480p. It does require a lot of unnecessary permissions.

Hey, I encountered the same issue as you did. Bet you weren't using Google Chrome browser on android to download the apk. Visiting the site from Chrome on android, allows you to download the apk file. Let me know if that still doesn't work & i'll put up a download link of the apk file.

Hmmm.... Works as expected on my tablet. How about editing the build.prop temporarily on an android box to match a nexus device? Changing the android version, model and product brand?

Try KODI or other suspicious android apps in the Play Store.. Hypptv... Astro... Get a proper android box. So many choices.

Hahaha, probably just used to more speed.. Besides 3 years is a long time compared to today's fast-paced technology. Technically, your box was obsolete in about a year after its release. See the average human is difficult to satisfy, we want it faster, better, stronger. Google's Android TV was supposed rule the living room, but mainly due to certain restrictions and it's incompatibility with the full fledged Android OS apps, it's not gaining traction as it should.

Are you using a remote with trackpad or airmouse features which simulate touch? If not? You need one or an external mouse to click the "Ok" button.

Device? Paid or free account? Internet speed? Decoding mode? Using default or external player?

Server problem.. With such services, buffering is bound to happen occasionally depending on server strength. For server issues, it's usually because the servers and or their bandwidth is at or near full capacity handling connections to it.. hence the buffering.

Yup... How they handle congestion is the true test. Basically, if server & upload capacity is set at 20,000 connected.. If say 20100 tries to connect, sure 100 or so experience buffering issues or kick outs.. What good IPTV providers do is provide more servers to handle the load.. Of-course, they can be pricier or more exclusive to seek than CloudTV. CloudTV's major advantage is history, those guys have been around for at least 5 years.. So paying to them comes with some peace of mind versus some fresh, low popularity provider

That one's from the channel hosters.. What most of these folks do is capture and broadcast the streams, guess they've employed a way to inform that the channel is unavailable at that particular time.
