hey guys, wanna ask i heard the previous model of MX5021 is better than the newer ones ? Is it true? If yes, how old is the model? and where to get it? Also what are the differences yea?

-look at the cone. if there's a line then it's old. if it's the smooth bowl type then it's the new one

the hidden difference
-better components/parts
-better sound quality out of the box
-better build quality
-sounded more THX certified than the new fake thx certified on the new models

guys wanna ask rite any of u used MX5021 wif Ibasso D2-BOA or Asus Xonar U1? what are the difference yea...?any other recommendation other than these 2? im using laptop btw

I don't think it's a gd idea to use a headphone amp for speaker~ You can consider the Creative SC as well.

anyone using fx 5051 here? hows the sound quality?

not very impressive
subwoofer good(tight bass) but cannot play loud
sats too small so it sounded small,plasticky
not enough midrange because of small sats

Is Asus Xonar considered as headphone amp? coz i read reviews saying Asus is better den creative? coz currently im using a laptop...

Asus Xonar is a computer soundcard,not a headphone amp

but they can work as a headphone amp if it's connected to computer

i am using Altec Lansing 45.1 (Black Edition) since 2001 till today..So far so good, never gave me any problem..

using mx5021 rite nw..never regret it evendoe my version is new one! trust ur ears!

Asus SC is more user-friendly, Creative programme is more sophisticated.
