My is not hissing sound. It sound like "pak"  almost like Fm radio or TV when the are tunning. I deno how to explain. Juz sound like "pak" during movie or song. Pak 1 time only. Wont continous pak 1. But in 1 song should got 2 or 3 times . I deno how to explain. Juz hope changing thesatelite wire will help.

Blurry bass? Need Puncy upfront bass? Then i think other than klipsch GMX,  the bass from AL VS4121 should suit ur both taste...just guess only...

I use vs4121 damn sucks,bass to high.

hi may i know is it normal for mx5021 have hissing sound when i power on without any muisc?

changing speaker cable will solve it?

the hissing sounds appear once i power on the speaker. 
however it doesnt increase or decrease when i play music.
i have tried it at the condition where i unpluged the cable from comp, unpower all the electrical stuff, aux in mp3 player.
its still the same.

your speaker will become "ceramic yellow" after 1 year...haha

tried to pair off the mx5021 on my tv and dvd player

what it means by cut cost product?

mx5021 owner here too ^^!
but sometimes i can hear some "blakblak" noise when watching movie or gaming....is it sound card problem ? i'm using mb build in soundcard...any recommand for average sound card ???

The cut cost or not cut cost version actually use the same cap, SAMXON...only the "cut cost" redesign the amp circuit and satellite crossover which eliminate some component, maybe to "cut cost" or just simply "redesign", who knows? since no one compare these two version side by side...

Hello~ ACS45.1 user since 1999. Those were the days with acs45.1 boxes piled up everywhere in pc fair hehe.

Now looking for something with better midrange/highs in terms of more clarity. (Bass is more than good enough already ) Mostly music-listening, and occasional shows/movies. Thanks.

been using acs 295 since 2000...planning to get a new set of 2.1...budget around 200-250...any recommendation ?

BTW, i don't think you can get the heavier version of MX5021 nowadays...

Actually both also have advantages. Nowadays, most seller sell the display carton version. It is easier to carry and more convenience.

refer to the pic of Faint, if ur speaker look like new version, then your one is lighter and 'cut cost'....
