Hello everyone,

Have a second chance to buy Kehan C905 with GPS Logger from ebay (Link Here) at USD99.50.

Was thinking about it but decided to let it go. So if anybody wants it, please PM before Thursday 1st July 2015.

Ya i saw the GS98C, liked that the GPS module sits at the bracket instead of having another wire that i have to hide and it's cheaper than the C905.

i guess it supports 64GB SD cards, hidden GPS module and a slightly wider lens.

Just want to ask those using GS90C original pole mount. Is the sucking strong enough? or it will fall down after a while? Any alternative Car Rear View Mirror Pole Mount like G1WC?

I read that if apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to the suction cup, can stick longer than without...

Yes thru the cigarette socket... Unless you hardwire to the car battery for continuous recording when engine is off but will drain your car battery...

There are few ways one could power the camera;
1) From your vehicle's cigarette lighter (cons- you cant use it to charge your devices)
2) Using a aftermarket multiple outlet cigarette socket (cons- looks ugly as hell, plus additional power draw from the sole socket)
3) Utilize a unused socket in your fuse box (either always on or ignition-up to u)

Personally I only have the G1W-C which comes with a very generously long power cable, which I route along the top of the windscree, down behind the A pillar, inside the weather stripping around the door (in my case, behind the weather strip there is a lot of open space so no chafing would occur), under the glove compartment and into the cigarette socket.

Will be splicing into the fuse box after I finalize the routing & camera settings as I just got the camera.

The dashcam battery very small and only can record about 5 mins or less on battery alone...

Cigarette socket should not drain your battery. It turns on when you on your engine and off when you off your engine.

You can use your powerbank to power your dashcam but you'll need to find a long mini USB cable... Think this is doable for parking mode recording?

Most if not all dashcams will have a mount which you can disconnect the camera from. Age of rule still applies, dont leave valuables in plain sight.
