Anyone tried claiming warranty from Thinkware? My 770 bricked after updating firmware, couldnt turned on at all.

hi there, would like to get some insight of the viofo a119 v2, a119 s (available on Sicurez official website) & a119 pro

1. from this forum i read that sicurez tech is the official viofo distributor? however on their lazada page they dont carry a119 pro; where as a company called jnk pro enterprise carries the a119 pro, so would like to seek your advise? I'm looking to get the a119 pro but if there is no authorized distributor will opt for the a119 v2 / a119 s instead?
2. read here that https://jwtechreviews.com/2018/04/20/viofo-a119-pro/ the memory card 64GB Samsung Evo+ was used, any advantage for a 128gb card to be used? or a 64gb card will do the job fine?? any recommended dealer or just get on lazada and get one there?

You connect to 🔋 signal from fuse sure can. Only 24/7 hours recording. I worried the dashcam internal battery and the sandisk ultra card die prematurely.

You can consider Viofo's as it uses GPS mount to stick on the screen. Main unit then slides in and latches to that. Cable position is unaffected too, cuz the cable is connected to the separate GPS mount and not the main device itself. Probably same for any other dashcams with separate GPS/power module.

Yeah.. Going with discreet designs and or just leaving it there is better. I could be wrong, but I don't think there are that many cases of cars being smashed into cuz of the dashcam alone. Mainly, that's done cuz there's a bag with like a laptop or tablet in it. But hey, who knows.. Maybe some druggie down on his luck and needs a fix would be willing to take time out to do a smash and grab for the dashcam alone.. Sell for cheap.

Although IMX335 has a higher resolution count, the individual pixel size is smaller at 2 micron instead of 2.9 micron on the IMX291(viofo)
I believe this will affect the night/lowlight performance

So far what I've seen is the picture taking capability is quite good in the sense that it can capture more details (higher pixels count - 5MP), can see number plate from further distance.

Yep. I meet the auto shutdown problem. It's too easy to kick in voltage protection. But sometime 4 hour still recording... Weird.
