Up to 5 years ago..never seriously think about Gerrard not with the team. But since then, with the injuries and lost of pace, we can see he is gradually losing his influence and we've accepted that the is no longer the Gerrard he used to be. So, yeah..I have no problem with us slowly phasing him out of the team. Of course we still need him but he should not be playing every game week in week out.
