QUOTE(ravenlost @ Mar 22 2014, 08:25 PM) Wah lao So dare go near. Last time I try take picture of butterfly, accidently touched caterpiler, got severe irritation, doc gave two shots for that It wasn't a big snake la. Small one... Beautiful thing. Should have seen in up close. Her colour was so nice. Plus... she was very nice. Spent about 5 minutes taking pics, but she didn't move at all (I think it's a she) |

Future my opinion try to capture your object in the middle and touch focus on the face then move back slowly.
Then predict the angle of the DOF then shoot at 38 mega pixels. You will be amaze what will come out. Ev need to increase +1 or +2 |

Hmm... good tips.
I used manual focus for this... cuz on auto, it keeps focusing further back. Will try your trick next time. Will use bracketing next time just in case. Yea... I still need to play around with settings. Not very good at it yet. Thx, Sifu |

QUOTE(legaia_green @ Mar 22 2014, 09:58 PM) Hmm... good tips. Try play setting less if u can estimate it's minimum focus you can get more clear shot. I used manual focus for this... cuz on auto, it keeps focusing further back. Will try your trick next time. Will use bracketing next time just in case. Yea... I still need to play around with settings. Not very good at it yet. Thx, Sifu . but the snake angle very nice if it was in the middle it will be even more awesome. Should take from down towards up ![]() 20130822_113447.jpg by JTproductions, on Flickr This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Mar 22 2014, 10:18 PM |

That why some end up take shoes, floor, building with bad lighting.
Not everything you see is dangerous. If you done sufficient research you know if it's dangerous they will certain colours and from that pic it's a tiny snake. |

QUOTE(ulwan25 @ Mar 23 2014, 01:36 AM) Hahaha... most snakes in Malaysia are non-venomous. Those that are venomous pulak... not dangerous to humans... Except a few like cobras and vipers.Oh... this snake is skinny... but was almost two metres long. Venomous snakes usually have broader heads and generally look scary. see also will know ady. hahaha. Like this (Pit viper/Rattlesnake) Oh.. and don't play play with sea snakes. Go and find your local friendly snake and take pictures together This post has been edited by legaia_green: Mar 23 2014, 03:37 PM |
