920 murah RM500 boleh la.. 1020 mahal that is why not that active not many have.

Can I ask the 1020 users, how is the battery issue been handled so far ? How long can one full charge last ?

After Black update, so far so good. LTE on 24hours, limited background apps (whatsapp, fb, battery, prayer times, weather), and the usual calls, whatsapp fb, some utube vid streaming, quick 5-10mins game during lunch hour... enough to last whole day, sometimes till next morning.

inb4 Glance set to 'peek' only, from 12midnight till 6am.

The battery is way better than any Lumia that is older than 1020.
I use to own 920 and the battery really sucks until they announced Portico.
One full charge usually last around a day for me, like charge and unplugged in the morning until night time around 11 or 12 die the battery. I don't use 3G though battery drains a bit like normal la if you use 3G. I'm on 4G/LTE.. Battery last a day without switching 4G/LTE off. Pretty awesome.

Nope, because nokia marketing fail already now they focus on bloggers and online presence. Back then in lowyat forum people got problem they come here to discuss and extensive brain wash. Just by pictures alone it speak itself.

Locally their presence very weak di because blogger will talk about it and that's it but in forum presence it's a long term continuous support and troubleshooting from the minute of consideration to get the unit until the moment you plan to throw your unit away.

Also if you notice most of the sample image quality posted here are below par so only people that are serious and loyal to nokia will be active.

Look at the selling point of 1020 it's the 41MP. Then notice what people are talking about bugs and challenges with their phone, now you just imagine around Malaysia how many people are facing this issues. Who help them solve the problem? Nokia care centre usually it takes 1 week to 3 weeks

Another issue was the software itself so much bugs they don't have online team to assist them so the only part they can promote is the beginning that where blogger comes in so after give alot positive feedback people buy then people face problems the problems are not fixed and with that it affect a lot consumer perspective to buy the next model.

This just my opinion sharing.

Wait until the first half of the year end. Pretty sure they will announce a new one by then for WP.
You should know those X series are just a stepping stone for Nokia to convince Android users to go to WP.
That is what Elop said though.

Yeah, bugs and missing some important features One simple example, a (fully root accessible) File Manager. Not to pirate media files etc, but to manage and keep track of files from various folders, not just the basic 5 or 6 main folders. Are uninstall apps/games fully cleaned and never leave any temp/cached files or folders behind?

Another simple example, bluetooth device name. Can we change it? Yes, but ONLY through a pc-usb connection.

And my fav example, native video call. Why can an N8 running an old symbian OS can video call natively but the new windows phone os can't?

I'm not bashing, but being honest. Love the 41mp feature bla bla, but lacking a few essential features.
