I was tempted because I wanted it for an event tomorrow night, but they said earliest would be Friday, so I'll explore other avenues first. But do let us know when you get it, see wheter it's a confirmed Nokia Malaysia unit or not. etc. etc.

Hmmm, so the powerbank wasn't free actually eh ?
RM2,288 - RM299 (grip RRP) = RM1,989.

Kan senang if Nokia went ahead and sold it at this introductory price ?  doh.gif

December 2012 @ Lumia 920 launch price = RM1,999
August 2013 @ Lumia 925 launch price = RM1,799
September 2013 @ Lumia 1020 launch price = RM2,499 inc FOC (rite) RM299 camera grip. So technically phone price = RM2,200

Dec 2013 @ Lumia 1520 launch = RM2xxx ?
By then, Lumia 1020 = RM1xxx ? A RM300-RM400 drop seems likely.

I couldn't cancel my Pre-Order with Storekini.
It is understable as it is clearly stated in their Pre-Order Terms & Conditions.

However, I made a small feedback about Superbuy offer @RM2,288 with Free Grip.

Let us do a calculation.
There is still a + Balance: RM61, shall buy from Superbuy.my and include similar RM150 Sanyo Power Bank as stated in Storekini.

Superbuy 1020: RM2,288 + RM150 Sanyo (Storekini) = RM2,438.00
Hence, we compare directly with Storekini with similar deal @RM2,499
Hence, can save RM61 if bought from Superbuy.my

That said.. it's not like you need yet another extra battery since you have the camera grip already. tongue.gif

Yup, I just feedback Storekini about this.
Hopefully, they could work a solution for all Pre-Order early customer.

I am deeply disappointed, even before I receive my Lumia 1020.
I sincerely hope it doesn't get worst.

Anyway, think of it. Why Nokia Malaysia want to allow Exclusivity in such case?
Wouldn't it better for others Retailer to share Product Launching? Just like Note 3.
It would make a whole lot difference and affordability, hence more people will grab Lumia 1020.

You know what guys,

Superbuy.my mentioned that the Free Grip can match the Phone colour!

Damn, I should screenshot earlier.
Superbuy.my had taken down Nokia Lumia 1020

I wonder about those who had ordered. Please keep us updated!

I guess the key is to be patient and wait. There's no rush/need to get it 1st; Won't win the person any prize.

At such RRP, it's very likely to have price drop or even different price offer later/soon. Also, as always, buying from Nokia Store will be in RRP, but other store, which also selling authorised MY set, can opt NOT to follow RRP.

Hah, superbuy either realized the "mistake" OR Nokia told them to take down the price.

I'm finding for the Google cached copy of this.
"cache:" doesn't seem to work.

Yup,
Now we know the less costly-priced Lumia 1020.

The exclusivity is only 1 week, right? Ends tomorrow?

I wonder whether Superbuy.my may put that RM2,288 up again on 27/09/2013 00:00.
With similar Grip color? If both yes, I will blast Nokia Malaysia.

Actually they can price it much lower. As I said previously, there maybe a team which do price survey and they may also check how much people are willing to pay... so if they see many people mentioned they willing to pay higher, so it may affect their final decision on what to price the product........

Just share some insights here.

Moreover, just imagine how many people who actually initially wanted to get the Lumia 1020, but after saw the price, they bought the Note 3 which just released.... Nokia just lost some of their customers again, how they want people to switch to Nokia or Microsoft who wants their Customer to switch to Windows Phone. Once the customer change new phone, how long for them to change again, and if they gets comfortable with the platform, it's another obstacle for MS to draw these customers.
