Hahaha I really like duke design but its small , ninja is more powerful and I dont really get used to , the price is a lot more 3k+ more than duke .... haihhhh headache hahaha
*
Actually what do you mean by not really used to it? Is it because the position crunch to the front or is it toooooooo powerful or what? hmm.gif

You do a pros & cons comparison then you will know which you will pick. Else, time will tell, no need to rush.

Versys 650

under 40k

a light dual purpose bike

650cc engine with 70hp on tap

accelerates from 0 to 60 in less than 5 sec

plenty of low end torque for city riding

twin cylinder - cheap maintenance

high clearance for go anywhere. go over potholes, road kerbs, or even light off-roading

for 250 i suggest u get a used bike which is 2-3yo.
problem with 250 is that it depreciates like hell for the first couple of years and many get bored and urge for upgrade in just 1 year or so. hence used 250 are plentiful with affordable price.
mind you that any beginner will drop their bike no matter how pro they assume they are. used bike is perfect as learner bike to trash around.

Not all lah... I sold my ZXR250 a few years back... and now the price is even higher then when I sold it tongue.gif

There's a big difference in riding style and control between a regular 2 cylinder and 4 cylinder bikes.
2 cylinder bikes have a bigger torque range so it's easier to ride.
4 cylinders have a narrow torque range, if you rev and hit that sweet spot while cornering you're gonna skid.

It takes some skills to ride a 4 cylinder 'properly'.
ZX6R has a higher compression ratio and is also 4 cylinder btw.

2 cylinders like ER6N/F have plenty of useable low end torque while riding in cities and still capable on the highways.

For TS, you'll grow out of a quarter liter bike very quickly so I suggest saving up for an ER6.

that is an intermediate level transition

not a beginner level transition icon_idea.gif

you are already acquantainced with a 250cc 30hp, clutched, top tank bike

still riding the CBR1000RR? that's a seriously fast superbike

busa was once the fastest bike, but the design is farrrr too yesterday. looks like a clumpsy uncle-ish 80' sport bike (sry if any busa owner reading this)

with the price tag over 110k for a 4yo used bike, better get a new liter bike, brand new conti supersport s1000rr is at disposal.

ops off topic, argg...

If im not mistaken

Duke 200 around RM20k for ABS version and RM18k for normal version
Kawasaki Z250 around RM24k

i would go for DUke as i own 1 ahaha yes its not powerful, i think maybe LC135 can tapau u already lor
but design wise (its subjective) i like it better than Z250 (kinda look bulky for me, doesnt look that good well personally for me)

FC = so far very good for me, maintenance wise no idea but since assembled in kedah so shouldnt be a prob i believe.

If u stay in KL, there's a KTM club D2roopers for u to join

z250 is naked version of the ninja 250.

Ninja 250 is sport type and with fairing right? the z version of it is naked, no fairing...
Malaysia still slow... not sure they 100% bring it in already or not but they did a launching of the z250 already.
if you want the z250, you might have to wait till year end I suppose wink.gif

btw, anything ask here /k/ bikers, alot professional around, also under lowyat net brows.gif

if you like it, then wait for it, I had a feel its gonna be somehow more comfortable than the ninja 250.

btw, budget 20k cannot take ninja 250 already, so just wait for the z250 best. rclxms.gif
but be prepared, z250 may be around 20+k, work hard for it! Let hope its below 20k.

other that this, engine and power similar
