suffering from rubber peeling off now... -.- the stupid 3M tak boleh tahan mia...

if kena water the 3M sure habis...cz water can actually flow into the stick surface if the water is trapped inside...

i do it when dry... but still... peeling off... so now i use cheap cheap double sided tape... mana tau it works slightly better than 3M...

rubber dried and starting to wrinkle and going to koyak.
the 3M still stick nicely. is the rubber itself that is going to peel.

yea...even applying when dry also, if rain kena water...somehow the water can sip through the small gaps...

mine one around 60kmh+ already heard wind noise...
and even i sticked the rubber seal also macam no stick at all (purposely try to stick at area that other people dun stick...)
end up dun waste the leftover so i gave it to someone else...

hmm... i think i gonna try another one if i got budget...

I dun remember how is the previous wind noise edi. I got do sound dampening by shorty 4 door and DIY soundproof for the 4 door mah. So different lah. but seriously, the effect....not superb. but got a bit.
Defnitely got effect de gua. especially when close door. From that fella thread say new generation rubber seal that don't allow water. but our bulk is defnitely old generation one. tipu punya budak.
maybe I will buy from another seller and reapply the rubber gua.

The raba I bought from the guy you guys bulked from are still okay. The default tape is very lousy though for sure. I got my hands on some 3M tape last time from a hardware shop and it's definitely much stronger than the "3M tape" that comes with the rubber seals by default.

IINM the tape comes with the rubber seals are fake 3M...

So we have to peel off the fake 3m and reapply the real thing?

If you do that it'll take forever. Just paste it over the existing tape and it should be fine.

If you haven't remove your door visors that's the reason. After they are removed the wind noise comes from the wipers instead. Maybe custom make wiper area cover with a deflector or take off the wipers .

DEO is not about saving fc btw...so dun think about having it break even or wad...u will be disappointed...
