QUOTE(DM3 @ Sep 23 2013, 08:59 PM) I still on BMG5..still haven't update to DMH6.. And my SELinux status still on permissive. Looks like the update change the SELinux status. I think I gonna skip the OTA update and do it manually then. Thanks bro

QUOTE(DM3 @ Sep 23 2013, 09:14 PM) Maybe wait while more bro Am looking a workaround as I want to avoid my SELinux status from changing. I heard it will be problematic to root the phone once the status is enforcing.

QUOTE(ahodil @ Sep 23 2013, 10:40 PM) actually, whats the bad of having Enforcing status on SELinux ? Not sure yet..I still haven't look closely at xda. Locked modem most probably which is not too bad. If lock kernel..that will be bad...lolz If lock bootloader...will be worse This post has been edited by waveweaver: Sep 23 2013, 10:53 PM

QUOTE(shawn87 @ Sep 24 2013, 08:40 AM) Is it possible to check the imeeii online? Instead of calling Samsung? No..you need to call Samsung Care Line for imei verification. If the phone already been registered then you can check the warranty period via sms.

QUOTE(wmx9969 @ Sep 24 2013, 05:09 PM) Any thing can soft my s4 over heating? Your phone over heating..!!? Do you mean soft the internal or external side.? For external...try use casing that made from rubber/thick soft plastic. For internal...nothing to worry about. The phone will go into auto shutdown when the temperature go real high.

QUOTE(Vcys86 @ Sep 24 2013, 08:35 PM) So there is still no root method for the SElinux = enforcing? You can root your phone. There's no problem on rooting. The problem is with the Knox warranty flag. When all on stock firmware it show 0x0. Once you root or try to flash anything..the warranty flag will increase to 0x1. At this moment there's no way to reset that warranty flag back to 0x0.

QUOTE(romeo57 @ Sep 24 2013, 08:51 PM) Just about to ask this question. So, rooting wont brick the phone, when the status is "enforcing" now? Btw, has anyone tried CM stable version for i9505? No..rooting won't brick your phone. It only void your warranty...lolz
