I still on BMG5..still haven't update to DMH6..
And my SELinux status still on permissive.
Looks like the update change the SELinux status.
I think I gonna skip the OTA update and do it manually then.

Am looking a workaround as I want to avoid my SELinux status from changing. I heard it will be problematic to root the phone once the status is enforcing.

From what I see..once update to DMH6 update..it will change to enforcing status.
So I hold the update for now..lolz

No..last time when I root the phone..it still permissive.
Unfortunately I got problem till it bricked the phone.
Went to service centre and they reflash back to full stock BMG5 firmware. Still not root the phone till now..lolz

And i just receive notification ask me to update the firmware.

Not funny...the update will lock your SELinux status from permissive to enforcing.

Yup..scare the hell on me for a moment..lolz

Maybe you can put on first page.
Warning..DMH6 update will change the SELinux status..!!
Those who don't want to have enforcing status better not do an update.

Locked modem most probably which is not too bad.
If lock kernel..that will be bad...lolz
If lock bootloader...will be worse

No..you need to call Samsung Care Line for imei verification.
If the phone already been registered then you can check the warranty period via sms.

Do you mean soft the internal or external side.?
For external...try use casing that made from rubber/thick soft plastic.
For internal...nothing to worry about. The phone will go into auto shutdown when the temperature go real high.

My Knox warranty flag now is 0x30..!! :
Even after reflashing at service centre cannot teset that flag.
In fact the flag increase after service centre technician flash back full stock firmware.

Look at second last info at the download mode.
Mine is 0x30..
Meaning the statement that say there's no 0x2 on flag count is not true then

You can root your phone. There's no problem on rooting.
The problem is with the Knox warranty flag. When all on stock firmware it show 0x0.
Once you root or try to flash anything..the warranty flag will increase to 0x1. At this moment there's no way to reset that warranty flag back to 0x0.
