No..you doesn't need the EMJ5 modem unless you have problem.

Now..wanna try the Slim version 5+ where there's no Samsung apps at all....lolz

Most of them are just plain lazy to do factory reset...they want to avoid the hussle when restoring.

Then when the phone hangs..the apps freeze..they complain that 4.3 is bad..lolz. doh.gif

Did you notice that certain stock firmware come with wipe features.? It will wipe out all your apps and data..no matter you wanna wipe or not after updating. Have you ever wonder why..?

4.3 firmware is quite massive updates. Even SuperSU app cannot hold it and need to reapply/redownload instead of just updating the app.

But then again..it's your own phone and you're free to do what you like with it. I just give a suggestion and you are free to ignore it..if you want to biggrin.gif

Download and install Home Manager app from market.
Use it to set your default launcher and kill the other launcher. That way you won't get launcher that keep changing each time you press the home button.

I suggest you get a Note3 if you don't mind a bit bigger screen.
If you wanna buy with plan/contract..either Maxis or Celcom should be okay as both have LTE for mobile.

For Maxis..you must be postpaid user with atleast 1GB data plan in order to use the LTE.
Am not sure bout Celcom tho..
