I just got mine last night!
Spent the whole night charging it because they don't come pre-charged. So not much chance to play around with it much.
But overall so far, very nice!

After installing some of the apps including the Office, it's left with about 11+GB
Just buy the pack with it pre-sealed. and only ask the seller to open the package when you buy them. The Licence key should be inside.
The micro USB port is also used for charging.
So if you really need to use plenty of USB items, I suggest getting a Hub to work with the USB 3.0 on the keyboard.

Here are some of my thoughts so far
Pros:
Very Very lightweight for a full Windows experience.
Great screen display
Great battery life.
solid feel, except for it being a fingerprint magnet.

Cons:
Slow charging.
Keyboard layout needs getting used to. (I'm used to quality keyboards since I'm using a Thinkpad, which is about the same as a macbook)
Touch pad is not as sensitive as a good laptop's touchpad
Bundled Micro USB cable is short.

We need to install it ourselves.

Gadget Zone, Gurney Plaza, Penang.

Bought it at full retail price of RM1299. Since most of the other places I went to said that they are sold out and purchase orders are needed.

Oh, And By the way, The Chip already supports 64bit.

The first time would take about a few minutes.
subsequently should only need a few seconds to a minute.

But actually, I don't shut it down. I just let it sleep when I'm not using it. It starts up almost instantly.

It's obviously faster than a conventional HDD. Slower than a SSD though.

bad marketing approach i would say Asus this time. after launched for weeks, potential customers can't even have access to it. Went to lowyat, the greatest place for gadget in malaysia, were told no stock.

hope by the time sufficient stocks came in to the retailers, the T100 hype is still there. or perhaps, prospect would have opt for another brand by then. doh.gif

If only Asus warranty service is not as bad as it is, I might have consider this model despite its shortcomings.

don't bother to check in KL. Lowyat, midvalley, the mines - all no stock. some of the shops are willing to take 'pre-order' so that you get the device on the next stock arrival. but then by that time, you may no longer want this device -cuz competing models maybe available.
