Tried joeldroid rom. Not bad actually. Has almost all note 3 features and all of them works.

Joel droid rom is based on wanam rom but wanam doesnt have all the note3 features. Latest one is 3.4.1. Just downloaded but myb flash it tomorrow.

I suspect your efs backup is based on newer roms. Probably the reason why u cant use old modem on newer roms.

So many steps just to flash hawkish. I update the recent twrp and flash 4.3 roms. Works fine without reroot.

I had problems flashing 4.3 roms on outdated recovery. The old recovery doesnt support 4.3 roms. After getting the latest TWRP everything works fine. No need to flash SuperSU again.

Haha. I would recommend flashing joeldroid if you wanna use some of note3 features like air command(as if you havent use it on note3.)

I think for Hawkish air command should work. You have to enable it but im not sure how. Something like using the help feature to enable it.

Joeldroid is straight forward. Just flash it like you normally do with previous roms.

Yes. Dont forget nandroid backup.
There will be a notification by Goo.im for an update after flashing. Ignore it since the dev said it is buggy. Just stay with 3.4.

Dont transfer big files at one go. You will damage your sdcard.

Mine doesnt work. The option is there but FC when selected. Not sure bout other 4.3 roms. Anyway i did a dirty flash and played around with xposed framework. So im not sure whether it is the rom or my phone because of too many mods.

What you are saying is exactly the same thing in the warning of post #1. The solution is there too. Have you gone through that?

I just checked the thread that antt00 provided. The rom needs to be odex. I can only do this at home. Need to download a different rom. What rom did you try it with?

Yea. I dont think there is any custom rom for n7102. But still I think this version is a good business tool since it comes with dual sim and all the goodness of spen.

The network meter is an option in aroma installer. You can disable it in wanam exposed. Just change the position of the clock.

There's a new patch for joeldroid. Check the 3.4.3 changelog. They should fix the keyboard issue already.

I dont know why some of you get FC for handwriting mode and continuous input. Mine is working perfectly. I got FC for TW once after using continuous input and that was it. Everything works fine.

Btw im still on JoelDroid 3.4. No patch update yet and no settings changed in wanam xposed. Gonna stick to 3.4 until the dev come out with the new version end of this month.

Another promising custom ROM is dr.Ketan's 4.3 custom rom. He seems to be working hard to port note3 features to our note2.

Weird. I just did a clean install of joeldroid rom 3.4 and patched with the new update(latest 3.4.3)

Handwriting mode and continuous mode both are working fine.

The best part....Business Card OCR working for me now.
