@Sacremento: I'm just waiting for 4.3 Sammy kernel sources so that we can get custom Sammy kernels FINALLY. Running a stock kernel feels so... wrong.

Hey, you are right man..it feels so wrong...
Can't do any tweaks..sad.gif

I don't mean all...just the crappy ones like s-apps. Well, there's always Tibu to freeze them.

It's like they planned this before. Release a buggy rom just to create an excuse to postpone the update. Memang samseng la this samsung. Lol

Cos cm had an apps on playstore now, that let's u root ur phone without having to do anything. With just basicly needed a PC with cm client installed, and connect to PC. The apps will do the rest for me

That's very convenient. You should at least know the basics of rooting just in case.

i just wish there is a software or MOD which can help us to uninstall all the boatware all in once,..

can we use Samsung GALAXY Note 3 Cleaner base on here to clean our Note 2 DN3 V3 bloatware ?

anyone tested ?

Kinda dangerous dont you think. The script will run to remove a lot of system files. Might caused a lot of dependencies missing too.

At the mean time remove them or freeze them with Tibu. Wait till official custom is out. Im hoping they are out with custom kernel.

update.

yesterday flash DN3 v3 via TWRP (from rooted stock 4.1.2), fail.
then flash DN3 v2 ok, but alot of FC.

then restore back to 4.1.2

today try again, flash DN3 v3 fail again, keep stuck at bootloader.
then i flash V2 again, then direct flash v3 again.

then everything ok.
weird.

Check your twrp version. Did u run full wipe? Advanced format and format data. I always wipe twice just to make sure everything is gone. The system files in 4.1.2 and 4.3 are in different location iinm. Last time I had this problem and it was causing bootloops.

Yeap ive turned it on, did what youve said and even refer the vid on the op still didn't work. Everything else is working fine except for one hand operation for all screen. Tried clean wipe and reflash rom but still same.

You were probably swiping too fast. It doesnt have to a straight swipe. Try it with a curve. Its easy.

can we still use triangle away after root?

I think by the time knox hit note 2 there should be devs working on knox away. Not important to me anymore since my warranty has expired.

Lately so many flashers. The thread is quite lively now. Seriously where are the custom kernels. Flashing rom is kinda boring nowadays.

That said, lots a people had FCs with MK4, especially those not running the latest BL and using the wifi patch. Although my short experience with DrKCustom was totally smooth and FC-less after flashing (with Philz, not TWRP).

Now back to MI6. Not having the full N3 experience is sorta sad but I'll manage - I love the old browser too much to go anywhere else.
*
Im running the latest BL but still need to use the wifi patch. No FC so far. Of course I haven't installed xposed. Modifying csc could be one of the reasons to get FC.

Is there any option to root my device if im in 4.3 stock?
Afraid to ruin my imei again. Warranty voided i dont care much about triggering knox or flash counter
Or am i able to downgrade?
Baseband demj9

IINM rooting wont ruin your imei unless you did something out of ordinary. Mostly people faced imei issue after flashing custom roms.
