I suggest u install cerberus app. if your phone is rooted you can flash the app integrate it with the rom.so no matter how many times the thief do factory reset/wipe u can still haunt/track your phone. unless he flash the phone with new rom then gone case la. but if you are lucky u might be able to recover your phone. the license for 5 device is 4.99 usd iinm. very reasonable for the service it offers

Guys, a bad day for me today, accidenly drop my note2 and screen crack, is that note2 can be like iphone4 change the grass panel only? Or need to change include the screen?

Haha my thoughts exactly. The Knox thingy is a pain in the ass. Damn. Custom Roms will be safe.

If it doesn't come with Knox, it will be good.

But I believe the bootloader will change to incorporate the new security model of 4.3, whether it comes with Knox or not.

Flashoholics will have a tougher time.

Note 3 currently cannot root & flash. The future is uncertain for flashoholics. Luckily still have my Note2 to satisfy my flashing addiction if need to.

Knox is NOT a feature of Android. It is a Samsung enhancement of Android for paranoid enterprise types (of which there are plenty, including Uncle Sam). Knox may or may not be in 4.3 for Note 2/S3.

Root is reversible. The Warranty FLAG is not (at the moment). For S4 and Note 3.

Well if one wants to do it prepare for warranty be void.
This is one point I always emphasize to users wishing to root. Even with flash counter removed n rom shown as official if the tech wants to dig into the hidden files he will still know you have rooted before.
If one is not prepared for such DON'T bother to root. The moment i root any of my phone i am prepare for warranty to be void.
