QUOTE(TakoC @ Mar 10 2014, 10:07 PM) Minimum amount 1k I think, posted here a few pages back. You can choose what to do to it upon maturity. Whether go for auto renewal (which is always auto renewed back to board rate no matter what type of FD promotion/bank) or credit principal + interest back into account. I usually go for credit back into account then will take out the funds and put somewhere else. QUOTE(Gary1981 @ Mar 10 2014, 11:38 PM) Mach HL officer said today there will no any promotion rate which previous month 3.7 for 6months. Current is @ 3.4 only. The next promotion rate is next new year. Next year is still quite a long way to go. So fast they decide no promo edi ah. |

That was what I meant about repetitive FD depositors who will place FDs more than once within a year The only concern is how many members are willing to reveal their FD amount |

QUOTE(RO Player @ Mar 11 2014, 09:58 AM) 1. Maybe the gomen has no idea/yet to know that a bad storm is brewing up in BR?2. Can you confirm that you just renew/redeposit FD with BR, no additional fresh fund & still eligible to obtain gifts? QUOTE(gchowyh @ Mar 11 2014, 01:38 PM) Hehe.. That was what I meant about repetitive FD depositors who will place FDs more than once within a year Then it really depends on the bank's goodwill to offer extra rate but receive the money later. |

QUOTE(kionglee @ Mar 11 2014, 08:48 AM) Maybe you can call them up and ask. 3.6% for 12 months is their Islamic one, all the while also got. I just placed for 6 months yesterday: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(Sarah Jessica @ Mar 11 2014, 04:13 PM) QUOTE(Berkshire Breakaway @ Mar 11 2014, 04:51 PM) Check first post? All the details are there already.3 months (short term) you can't get very high rates. 12 months some banks can nego but generally also around 3.6% or so. If you don't mind no PIDM, then go for Bank Rakyat. |

OCBC has their 3-months promo but 50% must be put into CASA. which is why i posted to check if any forumers found anything new (like in the recent weeks or so) good deals for 3 months or less when i think fixed deposits, i always want PIDM If you're looking for pure FD, then 3 months not many promo. |

QUOTE(RO Player @ Mar 11 2014, 05:48 PM) govt servant, still applying for loans, so making my money work hard..4% is decent..still higher than inflation. 1. Meaning that you do not add fresh fund to your matured FDup to you, i did post parker pen photo (last few pages), high tea (confirm), towel, maybe mug (BM says later).. 2. Just renew your FD on maturity 3. BR bestowed you with those gifts Am I correct? |

magika bbgoat
Found out the reason I'm not able to open BR joint account ATM card. The reason was that I applied for a joint SA & chose any of the parties listed as a joint owner of the account can do banking transactions. Was informed that to enable me to apply for a joint ATM card, I need to choose the option of requiring all account owners' signatures for all banking transactions. So, would like to ask both of you who BR joint ATM card holders, was I misinformed (again???!!!) or is it the same case with your account? |
