I have finished downloading and enjoyed!

Cilaka man i tot after win the races with all types of cars i can unlock the rest like GT:HD rofl.... skali tgk tiada apa pun T___T

yeah from my guess, the car under the blue cloth should be the new imprezza (the short buntut 1)

- agreed with above posters, the jagged shadow make things look unreal from its original form liao...hope to be removed soon!

Overall verdict by me is, its a must have biggrin.gif~ as of now, no track penalty is implemented(IMO) so its totally easy to win even with real noob driving as there are 2 S-turn which you can abuse lol... car engine is very very realistic @.@...

p/s : tiada cockpit R35 pula XD

@ Arshad : it is 90% japanese >.<... took me more than 10 minutes to re-configure the controls lol, i wrote down the beginning of each assigned button, and swap with each other till i get my preset control haha (this will happen when Ninja is not anywhere around you) tongue.gif

All we need is to wait for the Tokyo Motor Show (Oct.26) to come for the cars to be revealed and unlocked.
Anyone here tried changing the PS3 clock and see whether that works ? whistling.gif

If there is one game that could steal most of my time, then this is that game! Can anybody please provide me a brief translation for the 'NEWS' section in the demo? hehe. The cockpit view really really look realistic... right down to the speedometer and tachometer needle!! I can even see the i-Drive GUI in the 1 series BMW! Guys, does this mean that come 26 Oct, all the remaining 3 cars will be automatically unlocked? shocking.gif

About the cars, just have to wait thumbup.gif

About the translation for the news page :

The first one is about the unveiling of the locked cars.
It says that the game will have synchronized events with the upcoming 40th Tokyo Motor Show.
And there might be changes to the cars between 23-25th of this month.
And on the 23rd of October, at around midnight, the GT-R will be unveiled and may not be able to be driven.

The second one is about Gran Turismo TV.
It stated that GTTV will broadcast promotional movies of planned shows and free original shows for GT5P.
It will be announced in the news section, therefore asking us to check it back regularly.
It also states that you're not able to select GT-TV right now, as we speak.

The third one is thanking you for downloading the demo of GT5P.
It states that we're able to enjoy a portion of the prologue in advance of the Dec.13 release date.
It also stated that (again) there will be synchronized unveiling events with the Tokyo Motor Show by having new cars to drive in the game, and the broadcast of the motor show coverage rclxm9.gif

The text below it is the disclaimer notes, which are :
- This demo is merely a small portion of GT5P which may differ from the final product
- Online services cannot be used when offline
- Upon release of the full GT5P, all online services in the demo (unveiling, GTTV, the news) will become unavailable)
- If save game data is deleted after the completion of the online services, you may not be able to move pass the unveiling stage anymore. So please handle the save game with care.

Thats' about it.

Gran Turismo TV is now LIVE

user posted image

If you have downloaded the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Demo, you will now see that the Gran Turismo TV feature is not only included, it's now active.

There's a "New" tag next to it, which means there is new content ready to view. The purpose of this option is to provide racing fans with real-life professional driver interviews, video footage, and other related information for the hardcore enthusiast. This first update for GT TV includes three standard-definition videos, and they are from Best Motoring, Autobacs Super GT, and D1 Grand Prix.

Before you start the race, change it to Professional mode, that's the second option from the top. Swap the tires to either the S or N types, and watch the difficulty get ramped up.Downloading GT TV clips now.

Casual driving, here's my setup:-

Driving assist ON, Grip set to 8, and leave the both front/back tyres stock at R3. Pick Evo X and it should be a piece of cake.

To jump to Exhibition/Demo mode, stay at Home screen, press "Circle" (it may be X on Asian/Japanese PS3s, it's "Circle" on my US PS3), and click "OK". You will cycle between available Exhibition/Demo mode, which includes replays through Fuji SuperSpeedway, Daytona Speedway, a clean iconless camera roll-around the garage with the car you picked in Showroom, and TWO Exhibition modes featuring two different Nurburgring Norschleife scenarios, one of your car parked in a narrow cobblestone lane, and the other on a grassy ruin.

They should be unveiling the real front and back design of the Nissan GT-R, since the red velvet drapes are back on it. The GT-R looked unfinished with those black carbonites as placeholders. Once unveiled in TMS 07, they should update and unlock the actual design back into GT5:P between today and tomorrow. Tomorrow is the unveiling for the car under the blue velvet drapes, which should be the new Subaru Impreza, judging from the silhouettes.
