What is the Traction Control level do u guys usually setup during races, and the preferred tyre choice so there is not too much understeer?

For real driving experience, (making you to be driving the car originally) , I will always go for Traction = 0 , the more values means lesser slidings.

Best tyres to go for is R3 ( Racing 3 ) the number is the grip level I think, S = Sports Performance N = Normal tyres.

And, driving assistance is up to you, for drifting, I always turn off the DA, but most of the times, I turn it off (since GT:HD) as DA make u lose speed comparing to none biggrin.gif

Stringfellow : I forgotten to reply you earlier but as you said, the top 2 options before the race, it is meant to be driving assistance ON/OFF right? coz i been toying with GT:HD since day one in English, now i teringat again about it...

Thought I was asking about having difficulty level as the AI is seriously too easy to win,for every cars. Turning OFF/ON driving assist only make u drive harder , not having a real racer AI hehe... btw thanks for the info earlier.

Yup, no actual difficulty levels here, just making the drive more realistic, rather than being assisted all the time. Once the game comes out in December, we shall see.

Seeing how the Nissan GT-R is still under that red velvet, this may be a spoiler of sorts:-

The interior of Nissan GT-R. Once the clock strikes midnight tonight, the download for the updated front/rear design and the cockpit view with this interior may be available. Dashboard , as seen in this pic, are created by the boys at Polyphony Digital.

Krovaxq, December is the Japanese release. You can either buy it using Japanese PSN cards on Japanese PSN, or physical money with physical Blu-ray in hand.

erm..still no damage?

i remember reading EGM when they interviewed yamauchi when gt2 was released (straight 10s out of four reviewers) They asked Yamauchi why GT has no damage mode, he gave 3 points.

1. the limitation of PSone hardware.

2. The licensing issue.

3. They want to simulate REAL damage, not only cosmetics but in mathematics. The point i really remembered is

we dont want to paint the damage, the car still handles well, and at one time, it explodes

wow...EXPLODES. crazy shit. so since GT 5Prologue has no damage, I guess they will continue the thing in GT5. After all, we want to play, real driving simulator, not real CRASHING simulator. Want damage? Play Burnout.

its either too heavy to apply dmg(graphical-wise) or memang most of the cars must not be seen in dmg state tongue.gif

so jap version is out for december.... when will the english one! zomg how ni how ni...

EDIT : agree with snake, wana play crashin' game, go burnout or DiRT. simulations arent supposed to be that way in the 1st play.. but in my humblest opinion, its because of the licenses, and .. limitations of the graphics

GT5 Prologue is a DEMO to GT5. GT5 is still WIP. we may still see damage in GT 5.
