G2 vs Note3. Which is better ? The price range between both so-so only.

Thinking to get one of these soon. Thanks in advance for helping me to decide.

If you like using the pen, then note should fit u. I've owned note 2 but hardly use the S pen.

To me, G2 suits me best.. There are many reviews in the Internet. Just Google for it..

I feel gatal to install Beanstalk. Still wondering which Vanilla flavored ROM is the best.

When i got it the battery is almost full. Straight away use it for full day until battery die that night.

Why does the phone keep saying slow charging even when charged using the included plug(not being charged from a PC,etc)? Any way to speed up the charging?

if u get the slow charging error even if u use the included plug it might be because u were charging when the phone is hot . try to cool it down a little . oh and fast charging app is available but sometimes they dont work . try reading the reviews from G2 users or try each of them

guys i just bought a waterproof casing where u clip it and stuff . it is responsive to touches , but knockon never works (i dont mind) and most of the time the display switches off 2 seconds after i turned it on every damn time . anyone know a solution ?

The display auto switch on i guess it's bug. Just a restart will do. Happens occasionally to me but no big deal..

definitely not auto switch as i did say 2 seconds after turning on . u can try by closing only the proximity sensor (between the front camera and speaker) but when i use the waterproof casing , the casing doesnt even covers the proximity sensor but it'll still turn off the display HELP !

I guess the phone thought it is in a pocket and therefor treat your Power On as accidental presses so it turn off the phone. If there are something that is directly the proximity sensor it will trigger (thinks the phone in pocket, casing etc etc) , clear plastic doesnt mean the sensor can't "see" it

To confirm, just go in maintenance mod 3845#*802#, choose ALC proximity test, when nothing is blocking it should report as FAR and when it detects something it should be NEAR. I guess your case causes it to be in NEAR state.

maybe you need to find an app to turn off proximity censor to use your waterproof case

Er, how come RM500-700? Done some homework & I saw people selling Note3 RM1899+ & G2 RM1699+. So price gab only RM200+. For me, RM200 is so-so only.

cmon im not that stupid lol sry . @mikeeeee pretty much explained it . when the phone is in the casing it acts like the phone is inside a pocket , any attempt to turn on the screen is like accidental (in pocket) . the only way to fix this is by disabling proximity sensor which i think needs root .
