QUOTE(isohusin @ Jul 17 2006, 11:12 AM)
Pls help !!!

I have AMD Sempron 2500+ socket 462 running in MSI KM4M-V Mobo, Seagate SATA 80GB, I GB Kinston DDR 400 RAM.

When I used the HSF supplied with the Processor, I get 61 degree C. The fan is spinning at 4500rpm.
Ehen I changed to Cooler Master Jet 7+, it still give a reading of 57 degree C.

If I am to compair eith the other forumer, I have a very hot machine.

All readings are by Sensor View Software. The System is stable at 36 degree C and the HDD is at 39 degree C. using both the AMD HSF and Coolier Master Jet 7+ All side panels are removed with my ceiling fan running.

Any suggestions ??? or ir the Sensors View Software is no good ???

@isohusin
would u mind to post ur cpu-z.
try using everest or nxsensor to view tempature.
compare it with ur bios is it same or not.
when using hsf temp always at 60c.it normal even i using 2400+ sempron.change hsf it will drop 35idle-48load depend on room temp.

not big gap i think (performance between 2 heatsink)

to know which 1 better maybe we need to test both heatsink with same rig and termal paste...

Hurricane21, you are in the league... thumbup.gif

Anyway, not just your load temp...
Even your Idle temp is scary...

My 3.0E at 4GHz is only 40C in idle when i'm using hyper 6+...
Why don't u look for a better heatsink rather than the Aero 4 Lite? sweat.gif

High temperature can kill your processor anytime... rclxub.gif

Hey bro, that full load temperature is not measured with playing games...
It's measured by when your processor is 100% used... thumbup.gif

The best way to test it is by using "Stress Prime 2004" wink.gif

True...
True...

If you're sure that your heatsink is sitting properly and u have used the thermal paste on the right amount, there should be no problem...
Unless...

That heatsink itself can't stand the processor...
Maybe it's the time to change to a new heatsink... wink.gif

I'm using AMD Barton 2500+@1.93 GHZ
using Jet 7+ cooper heatsink
idle=50, load=58-60c
maybe due to my room temp.
a bit hot for me
thats why cpu temp is high
