Pebble:
+ Huge community and developer support.
+ Although I did not manage to use Pebble App Store before I sold mine, it seems like a well-executed idea and solved some of limitation of the hardware in term of software organization.
+ Long battery life, can last up to 5 days in my usage.
+ Clear always-on display
+ Cheapest smartwatch (minus sony smartwatch 1 and other unheard brand of smartwatch)

- Magnetic charger cable can be hit and miss. Sometime it didn’t charge the phone if the magnet is misaligned. I heard the issue has been fixed in Pebble Steel.
- Only up to 8 watchface/app can be stored inside watch at one time. Pebble App Store offer some kind of application management to overcome the limitation.
- Unattractive look of first generation of Pebble. However Pebble Steel look super awesome (if only the front branding can be removed).

Sony Smartwatch 2
+ Good battery life (second place next to Pebble, easily last up to 3-4 days).
+ Looks better than Pebble and first generation of sony smartwatch and sony liveview
+ Decent app support on Google Play, more than 100 apps available.
+ Always-on screen, with its transflective display.
+ Best vibration motor
+ The only smartwatch that use normal ordinary micro-usb connector to charge
+ Made in Malaysia! (can check at the back of the watch, most batch of SW2 is either being made here or in china)

- In my usage most of apps and extension ate resource on my phone.
- Latest update of Gmail smart extension is buggy (can’t send notification if have more than one gmail account).
- Most of the apps are useless (except some fine extension such as Tasker)
- Touch screen is a bit fidly, some of the feature promised did not materialized on final product (widgets, motion gesture)

Samsung Galaxy Gear
+ High resolution screen
+ Frequent updates of Gear Manager adds more functionality months after introduction
+ Camera plus ability to receive and talk using the watch (although seldom using it)
+ Comfortable

- Not always-on screen. Motion gesture ate battery life.
- Notification system is the weakest among all smartwatches I have used.
- App support is uneven, and with transition to Tizen, I’m not sure current state of developer support..
- Speakerphone is actually kind of useless, hard to hear.
- Cannot change strap due to camera and speaker on the strap.
- Weak vibration (or pulse) motor
- The infamous camera bulge on the strap.
- 1 – 2 days battery life.
- Installation of Gear Manager comes with 20+ separate background running apks.

LG G Watch
+ Best smartwatch experience so far, tight integration with Android.
+ Notification automatically clear on phone once removed on watch.
+ “OK Google” voice recognition did a decent job to recognize my Malaysian English accent, and it is fast.
+ Smooth experience, thanks to mid-range phone specification inside the watch.
+ Already tons of android wear compatible apps on Google Play
+ Always-on screen, with motion gesture support to automatically wake the watch.
+ Magnetic charging cradle is easy to use.
+ Minimal resource used on my phone.

- Weak battery life compared to Pebble and Sony SW2, although seems to be better than Gear.
- Weak vibration, although Gohma rom seems to fix it a bit.
- Not as good looking as other watch, however build quality is very high, better than how it looks on online photos.
