Anyone already importing the LG G watch?

Sony's Smartwatch 2 is tempting but not sure if its a good choice.
i mainly use it to check notifications and switch songs but must survive water splashes.

researched about Android Wears but the features seems overkilled.
anyway, i think G Watch should be IP57/67 rated, just cant find any spec sheets on the site.

seems like most of those android wears come with dock for charging.
one of my concern is it will be hard to find the dock or will be more expensive for a replacement.

wish they could design the same as Sony, using a flap covering the port.

flap is not consistent for long run. Wireless Charging is the future.

i dont think flaps will make it look bulky. anyway, i dont think one will ever forgot to close the flaps as there should be a weird feeling touching your wrist if the flap was opened.

August would be the month for Motorola announce the next cycle of product, the Moto X+1 and Moto360.

Thanks to a good friend, my LG G Watch shipped out from US, should be here the earliest on Friday, the latest on Saturday.

Purchased from Google Store online, shipped to New York and reshipped out.

yea. If u have the money, juz go for Moto 360. Damn classy look, plus wireless charging. But it'll be more pricey though.

aiming to get 1 android wear smartwatch. So far my first choice is Moto 360 > G watch > Gear live. The high price of Moto 360 might make me change my priority to G watch.

Depends if the shipment passes shitty Customs. I say shitty Customs coz my last shipment, a single glass screen protector from Spigen, shipped using FedEx was slapped a tax costing 78% of the total cost, including the cost of courier shipping, and I refused it. Complained on phone, and wrote to them via email, the next day, it got released without any tax. Someone at the customs release department is not doing his work and simply slapping tax and hoping the customer(me) would swallow it up and pay to make his job easier. He got what's coming to him.

Package released by customs, should be in my hands by 6pm today. Typically, I get my packages around 3-4pm. Unboxing to come very soon, stay tuned!

I think I'll stick with the stock ROM and see how it performs first. If I can get away with more than 1 day usage on battery without tinkering with anything, I'm happy. Plus, I don't have time to meddle with it much, I've a flight to Istanbul to do tonight.

Bringing the box together with me. If I have the time, I'm gonna go change the watch strap immediately later. The plain black strap isn't too aesthetically pleasing. A metal strap perhaps.

Yeah, that and I don't like the curved edges of the Gear Live, I cannot totally lie it down flat on the surface.

But if Moto 360 is qi-enabled, definitely best!

I'm planning to transplant the black metal wrist band from my old Sony Smartwatch to the Moto360 once it arrived. Then it'll be the perfect smartwatch.......until Kairos smartwatch arrives. Then we play this same game all over again!

Was very hard to find black stainless steel metal links watch band locally in KL. Only have shitty looking silver. Had to order this from Amazon, and this just arrived today. Immediately installed it. The G Watch is now perfect!
