Yeah. Will see how the Sense UI first or maybe later will try other rom  brows.gif

after 3 months of using it, i dont have any issue with the stock rom. therefore, i didnt root the phone and replace with a custom rom. To me, the stock is very reliable and silky smooth. For those who wanna squeeze extra juice from the snapdragon 600, then you may need to try it.

It seems that I could not find any official announcement from HTC regarding the purple tint issue.
What I have is a comment from htc to hd blog about the issue.

You managed to find any official announcement from HTC? hmm.gif

How many days have you been using it?
Care to share with us if it drains the battery too much?  hmm.gif

Normally with this kind of apps they drain the battery too much.  rclxub.gif

I just started using yesterday...I don't think that it will have much impact on battery bcuz it stated under the app that it doesn't require any permission..

After reading it, this is something to worry about. Hope that the next 4.3 update can resolve the issue.

Regarding HTC ONE purple tint issue : here's the latest updated

HTC was aware of the problem a while ago now and has finally made an official response on the subject.

We recently received a single purple color that appears in images taken with the HTC One reports. After reviewing the internal relations, we expect a software update that will enhance the color contrast in low light conditions. As we work to improve this aspect of the user experience, we thank our customers for their patience. Meanwhile, If you encounter this problem, we ask you to kindly contact our customer service for help. “

If you don't mind crap camera in low light, buy it! The HTC Sense is very good, and the phone is very fast and responsive. But remember its a RM2k+ phone with a useless camera in low light.

Definitely not useless in low light. It still performs well in low light. Except for the purple tint on EXTREMELY low light situation / focusing on black/dark areas. smile.gif
