worst if you don't have any receipt, i think they will just check the date your phone arrived in Malaysia and normally the warranty will start from that date.

Of course, this does not applied to AP sets brows.gif

Better give yourself 4 weeks to 6 weeks for camera replacement. Call center is quite clueless.  I send my HTC One in to SENq on 18th August. I call after 2 weeks say processing. Call again 2nd September say inspection for drop and moist . told me that they received the set 29th August. Next week call dont know what they will say liao.
I am patient because got spare phone to use. Otherwise complain straight to HTC HQ taiwan already.

Hi bros and sis who are facing the camera issue (purple tint for photos taken under low light condition),

I have previously sent my phone to SiS Service Centre in Kelana Jaya for replacement of the camera module on 16/08/2013 and was informed by the service representative that the process would take approximately 3 to 4 working days. As expected, unfortunately, the phone repair process took much longer than expected.

Long story ahead, on my experiences dealing with SiS

Now, the most important update from my experience above: I was informed by the same service representative that the camera issue has not been resolved, and from my understanding, even if we did replace the camera module, it is only temporary fix. The issue will still come back in the future.

So, boys and girls who planned to replace the camera module, do think twice, ask yourselves:
a) does the camera issue affect/irritate you to the point that you can't tolerate it anymore?
b) are you willing to risk the other possible issues that are attributed to the technician, that may arise after the repair process?

If your answer is yes to both the questions, then please proceed to send your phone for repair, but be prepared to face the above situation that is bugging me now.

doh.gif I sympathize for the experience that u've gone through. Great phone but such a disappointing after sales... & the "purple tint" issue. guess I'll just ignore this issue. besides the purple tint will only surface during very very low light conditions nod.gif

Finally my phone back from repair from HTC. They change the camera module and the back plate (no idea why). The purple camera issue is now gone. And they didnt reflash the phone or reset it. So it is a hardware issue it seems for mine.

But unfortunately I am still having the facebook "Authorization problem" message still. Started since the first factory reset I did... sigh

Then, you should definitely go for otterbox

http://www.otterbox.com/HTC-One-Commuter-S...default,pd.html

Either the commuter or defender series.

I think Note 3 functions quite good. Don't really dig the look ( looks the same as Note 1 and S2 ). Not quite sure about the 'stitches' at the back rclxub.gif

In terms of specs and features very nice. Just hope they don't follow the same route as S4 by rolling out too many versions.

I thought you dig z1? No more? shocking.gif
