QUOTE(yewfatt @ Sep 5 2013, 04:55 PM) QUOTE(evofantasy @ Sep 5 2013, 05:03 PM) Mid October. Pricing still unknown but it is $249 for QX10 and $499 for QX100QUOTE(Macrusin @ Sep 5 2013, 05:26 PM) More like all from the Sony Lens. The lens has it's own sensor and imaging processor. My HTC One just act as remote/viewfinder |

QUOTE(un_id @ Sep 5 2013, 06:01 PM) Bro Jloi, the QXs can take really good pictures? in par with DSLR? if yes, i might wanna get it.. if just improve from phone camera but not in par with DSLR, i might not, considering the price, because already have DSLR as well. in par i mean comparable, or course not better. Won't be par. DSLR still has the larger sensor (APSC and FF). The QX100 only 1" sensor which is same size with Sony RX100, RX100MII, Nikon J and V series. The 1 inch' sensor not even bigger than micro four third sensor but they are on par with.![]() So I would say 1" sensor more on par with micro four third. |

QUOTE(un_id @ Sep 5 2013, 06:07 PM) Above compact class. It is still better than Nokia pureview 808 and Lumia 1020 in terms of sensor size.To put it simple, we have this category sensor size 1/3" (normal phone camera sensor size) 1/2.3" (normal budget compact cam sensor size) This is where QX10 sensor is and also Sony Xperia Z1, Samsung Galaxy Camera and Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom 1/1.7" (High end compact camera like Panasonic LX series, Olympus XZ series) 1/1.2" (Nokia pureview 808 size) 2/3" (high end compact like Fujifilm X10/X20) 1" (high end compact (Sony RX100/RX100MII) or mirrorless (Nikon J & V series) This is where QX100 sensor is 4/3" (mirrorless sensor size for all Panasonic and Olympus series) APS-C (Sony NEX, Samsung NX, entry lvl and mid range DSLR) Full Frame aka 35mm (High end DSLR with Sony RX1 and RX1R as exception for being fist compact with full frame sensor). There are some sensor size also sit in between but they are not common size |

QUOTE(un_id @ Sep 5 2013, 06:54 PM) Thanks for the very detail explanation. haha is ok. But the QX100 is great even it is 1" sensor only. It has Carl Zeiss optic and f1.8 for low light I got bought DSLR, but just use to snap2 picture when on visit.. Never really understand camera. Here something to read to know more sensor in camera http://www.gizmag.com/camera-sensor-size-guide/26684/ Size is not the only factor, imaging processing and good lens optic also distribute the factor for good quality image. But afterall, just enjoy shooting with what u have. If not, give you a 30k DSLR also no point |

QX100 is a good cam! i wish i have deep pocket to own it. btw, how does the QX attach to the HTC one? Is the hook magnetic stuff? How the mechanism works? Oh not magnetic mount. Just a bracket that mount on it only. It is very stable and won't drop out. |

QUOTE(kingsora @ Sep 9 2013, 10:47 AM) I think Note 3 functions quite good. Don't really dig the look ( looks the same as Note 1 and S2 ). Not quite sure about the 'stitches' at the back The air command from Note 3 look similar to small apps in Sony for me In terms of specs and features very nice. Just hope they don't follow the same route as S4 by rolling out too many versions. I thought you dig z1? No more? Ya dig into Z1 but I wanna wait next year for Z1 improvement. I know Sony can do it QUOTE(nuttyking91 @ Sep 9 2013, 11:14 AM) Agree hence no need change new phone and I get a QX100 to act as compact camera to satisfy my social media addict |

QUOTE(kingsora @ Sep 9 2013, 11:49 AM) Now that you mention that, those functions normally not that different from others. Just Samsung market it as new functions like they always do. yea HTC and Sony rises will create good competition and rivalry..as long as not something like Samsung and Apple Hopefully the next generation of z1 will be better. HTC and Sony are catching up. That's good for Android. If always Samsung only not good as well. Too many fanboys nowadays making me sick. I guess now the only flagship left is One Max. Other than that, no more if i recalled correctly. haha next flagship : HTC One Max, iPhone 5S and Nexus 5 |
