Got a call from Sony. Screen is not covered by warranty.

RM1,100 to replace the cracked screen. They will just give me a new unit.

Anyone want to buy mine?

Exactly, camera wise, if want go full force with XZU, can buy the upcoming QX10 and QX100 attachments (which are soooo awesome!). So this can be a buffer if people try to racun us to change to Z1 because of camera alone.. icon_idea.gif

Indeed gonna wait for next of sony's line of future Phablets.

Samsung do NOT cover warranty for screen also, I'm pretty sure a lot of other manufacturers follow this policy too.

UNLESS you have evidence that the cracked screen is not due to your handling, that is manufacturing fault from Sony, etc.

Damn pricey.. My bet, should be at least RM899 - 999 for the QX10, and RM1699 - 1799 for the QX100 when reach Sony Malaysia.

like myself and few of Samsung user, our warranty claim does go through.

as there is no dent or scratch on the surface.
