If you prefer to debate on this, mind give me your sources saying that 4K support requires more than just a firmware tweak on the supported chipset? need a dedicated image processing chip also like HTC One's UltraPixel camera?
I am giving example on which features are constrained by more than just chipset support. I am (again) saying that it is possible to enable the 4K video capture on the device by tweaking something in the firmware but you just don't understand it. I don't mean that we have the tweaks ready, but instead I'm saying that it is possible because once the chipset supports the feature and there's no other hardware requirement for capturing the video at 4K that ZU lacks of (unless you got source say "note 3 able to capture 4K video because of S800 paired with xxx hardware/yyy Android version which made it possible").

As you might have known, the photos taken from the camera got better in the current firmware than the firmware it is originally shipped with. Image processing is software algorithm, sensors are just receiver. The manufacturer will decide what to give in the firmware because they have various reasons like who would need 4K video capture feature, do they have the codec to bring the update, will it affect firmware stability, etc. but doesn't mean u can't customize the features with custom roms if u have the knowledge to do so.

my view is strictly as an opinion saying that the feature is possible and can be made available into the phone with the right tweaking on firmware level. and u peeps takes opinions way too seriously.

If ure a stylist person,  who like to do everything with finger,  pen or pencil on a huge screen, like to play games on smartphone and has ur own personality,  go for xperia z ultra.

If ure the type of person who like to use a special design spen which only designed for note 3 only and like to follow trend.  Go for note 3. Ur choice.

already call sony..if want to change pay rm1100...the screen protector come with the lcd..so if want to tukar..kena tukar semua..haih...rasa nak peel of n ganti screen protector yang baru je...coz I cannot look that calar2..

hurm..no so care about warranty because I chang my phone frequently...but if I remove the sheet I scared it also will remove the sony logo..mana ade sheet jual ngan sony logo kat pasaran...

yeah well u gotta admit with rainy season, u wouldn't know when u'll be soaked wet and won't have to worry about ur phone. or when it's hot n u dnhave to worry about the sweat corroding the 'leatherback' of ur phone

Actually yea. The leatherback thingy from Samsung was for me a no brainer. I don't really like the look of it. I would have been happy if it was still made out of that durable unsnapable plastic. What to do? Times have change, people want premium feel. But I'm not really sure about the White leatherback as White leather easily kena dirt. Haizzz. I wanna get the White one, let's see after 2 of my friends buy.

ya i hate sony now for the damn shatter proof film… the person who given idea for the shatter proof film should get fired! very non-practical idea..        

But yeah...better still if totally do away with factory shatterproof sheet. Safe the hassle of removing it / replacing it.

It also gives the wrong impression to people coz many thinks its supposed to be screen protector and SP are supposed to be scratch proof but this 

i know about laminated shatter proof film la.. read previous comments.. i'm angry because based on info given by a member here, Sony told that if want to change the film, need to change the whole screen by paying RM1100. wtf!!

Factory laminated shatterproof film is understandable but to be told to replace the whole screen just to replace the film is ridiculous. They should've made the screen with something like gorilla glass in the first place then and do away with the crappy film.

Thing is, I still want the XZU reason being its the only commendable spec 6~7" screen phablet out there. Overall design wise, its still cool from the thin and light profile, aluminium bezel. It's like I don't have any other comparable alternative out there.
