I have noticed Musee Platinum in online advertisement (Groupon) for a long time and has realised a great lacks of review on this particular saloon.

They have 2 branches which located in Fahrenheit and The Curve.

I think many girls out there could be wondering and would appreciate a feedback on this saloon.

As for myself I have signed up for the RM288 Underarms Hair Removal Package for LIFETIME!

I am on my 4th session! tongue.gif

Well worth it and it's not painful. Just a few snaps and you're done. rclxms.gif

Services are good so far, but I do experienced slight miscommunication with the girls during my visits.

They claimed it's the management and inexperienced staff. However the consultants did make up for me and I'm glad.

Oh, they have this kind of promo where if you sign up together with a friend, you and your friend get 1 session of free large part hair removal.

Or if you introduce your friend to sign a package, both of your friend could get a RM 300 ticket to be used on your next package.

So for eg, if you are new and intend to sign up, I intro you and both of us can get the intro ticket worth RM 300 which can be used to sign a new package or 1 free session on the large part.

1 large part is equal to 2 small parts.

There's free silicon pot upon signing up too I think. But bear in mind, it could be while stock last.

Please let me know what you girls think about this salon smile.gif

(will put more photos later)

Heard from my friend it's a popular salon in Japan too.

The most basic package would be the underarm removal package, only RM 288 for LIFETIME. (RM278 from Groupon, please call to enquire what's the difference)

They have a few package targeting on different areas.

Currently, they are having promo of 50% discount on the pubic area until end of this month, and that alone includes 5 small area, which I think is quite worthy.
And if ever you find that the package you signed up do not suit you, you can ask for refund or change to other area. This was stated in the agreement form.

Pubic hair promo:

4 sessions - RM 1,225.00
6 sessions - RM 1,837.50
12 sessions - RM 3,491.00

etc...

Most of the bigger package comes with free lifetime underarm hair removal.

So, in case you took the RM288 package and subsequently decided to take other package, they will less the RM 288 out from the package price. Meaning you still get free underarm hair removal.

My advice is that you signed up for the RM288 underarm hair removal with an intro of a member first (so both of you can get RM300 voucher for the next package), then wait to get another RM200 voucher from your birthday.
At the meantime intro your friend as well. All these voucher can be accumulated to be used on 1 package, however, they have 1 year validity.

Interesting. I've recently bought the Groupon deal few weeks ago and plan to visit them before end of this month.

How's the effect of the hair removal so far?

I recently visited the branch at The Curve and signed up for the rm288 package. The decor there is minimalistic and simple, sales girls are polite and pretty knowledgable, good service, and best of all no pushy sales.

I have only been there once, so I can't rate on how effective it is yet. But I would say the deal for the underarm is quite worth it. Just wanting to share my experience as I was pretty happy that it was quite a good deal. smile.gif

I've signed up for their unlimited underarm hair removal for some time already. I think went for more than 3 sessions so far. Also sign up for their other parts hair removal and it seems to be quite good. Service is good but sometimes their server mess up the appointment dates so best to confirm with them beforehand.

Yeah the service is good but they don't call to remind you when it's time for your appt... I wish they do. I've done IPL prior to this, so 1 year later I signed myself up at MP for maintenance. So far so good. Don't we all love hairless & fair underarms! lol

They do send SMSes 1-2 days before appt right?

I notice they always mess up my appt so still call them beforehand to reconfirm.

Strip specializes in waxing, their IPL hair removal is definitely more expensive than Musee the last I checked.

Very different compared to waxing. If you compare in the long run, it really depends on individual body.
Some hair growth will come back, but most will not be like before already. The hair will be very fine and growth will slow down a lot compared to before. So it's still very different.

Waxing only gives me say 3-5 days max of completely hairless skin before new hair starts to grow, but with more permanent hair removal methods like IPL or eLight, I don't have to bother about my underarms for 2-3 months cause there would be no visible hair growth. I just have to maintain the treatments every 2-3 months. If stop treatment, then the hair growth will get faster but still way slower than before. I can say its one of the best things in life that I spent on. laugh.gif
