I thought Flamini was poor. Sure he positions well to disallow opponent to get pass but he didn't tackle to win balls and when he did, yellow card. Arteta is still much needed.

his role today is more to, game breaker towards the opponent...anything comes his way, memang bantai...don't expect him to make a super pass...

from my observation, Ozil and Ramsey positioning always end up in same area at 1st half that make Ramsey faded. After 2nd half Ozil find another spot to let Ramsey take his favourite place making both goal.

Flamini for me playing quite poor and from this game i see he need support from Ramsey to cover his place after rushing out/ make bad positioning.
Need some tuning or Flamini need to buck up his fitness more.

Flamini was brilliant. Those that say otherwise must have been watching a different game.

Spot on. His role is as a bad boy. Make a tackle, retrieve the ball. Yellow card is a must. laugh.gif

To me, Flamini was brilliant tonite. He is our missing link, the one that did the dirty jobs for us. Just because he played DM and comes free, he doesnt get the lime light. 2 games 2 yellow, sounds like Vieira to me. Keep it up!

flamini did everything he was brought in for, he's a mad dog. his passing slows the game tho, but i cant complain when that's not his strength. break up play, steal the ball, lay it off to a more creative player. he did good.

although he always scares me when he goes for a tackle and risk another YC
