Not too keen on San Iker. I feel like he might just 'demand' his place in the first team rather than fight for it with Sczeszny. I like Julio Cesar better.
Even if we went for Iker he would not come.
Simply because The Boss won't guarantee first team places as in the case with Gustavo.
And being a world cup year Iker would want guarantees and assurances of a first team spot.

i wouldn't say it's dumb. It's down to the player sometimes. Wenger sold off Henry, Cesc, Rvp over the years because he respects his players. To me, that is a different level of a person already.
Even though we laugh at Chelski at buying midfielders non stop, Arsenal actually have a lot mid too assuming all fit.
Def and mid now really seems like more than enough and well covered. Coming Jan, add another forward and offload Arsenal best forward would be perfect.
no offense but even as an arsenal fan I think wilshere is a little overrated
I disagree. At his best Jack is an absolute beast of a football player.
You have obviously forgotten of what he is capable of before he got his injury. Especially when he bossed the midfield trio of Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta in our 2-1 win over Barca. Even Xavi and Iniesta reserved special praise for Jack after the game.
He just needs time to get back to his best. For a player that has been absent for so long from the game through injury it is only natural that time is needed, just like Ramsey.
At the moment he is not quite there yet but with regular football I have a feeling we will see the best of him again sooner rather than later.
Be patient buddy. Jack is probably the most talented footballer England has ever seen in a long time and you will see why soon enough.
That was when he was playing as a holding midfielder. I prefer him to be there though. I think that is his best position. Not a no.10 as he struggles to get his passes through as times. Maybe like you said, it's due to his injury.
Jack has never been a holding midfielder. Arteta was the one who was holding the midfield for as long as I can remember since Mikel joined.
Jack has always been a box to box midfielder with license to both defend and push forward when needed.
I do admit he has lost that little bit of spark since returning but he isn't far as there have been flashes of that returning in some of the recent games.
Coming back from almost a year without football is never easy.
Don't forget he is still only 21 years old.
Even not at his best at the moment you will still struggle to find a 21 year old box to box midfielder that is as good as Jack at the moment.

oh yes b2b. he was playing in that position when song was still at arsenal. in front of the defense then fab in front of him. that is when he destroyed the barca trio.
It was Song then Arteta. But my point is he was never deployed as a holding midfielder.
