Rooney hints he'll stay at United: Wayne's a happy chap, in the goals and aiming to beat Sir Bobby's record
QUOTE Wayne Rooney's post-match interview with ITV’s Gabriel Clarke on Tuesday may prove as memorable as another impressive display on his road to redemption at Manchester United. YouTube will have been busy yesterday morning. Twenty minutes after fixing Clarke with the kind of stare he usually reserves for referees, though, Rooney cut a rather different figure as he talked to newspaper reporters in a tunnel near the players’ entrance. Some subjects remained off-limits. ‘Ask me about the summer and I will walk off,’ said Rooney, half-smiling. |

QUOTE(digitalz @ Sep 22 2013, 08:48 PM) I seldom post here lately but here goes. =/ Life is like that bro. We are always the 'victims' of such treatments. I cannot brain this place sometimes. Some other teams, one in particular, can troll, flame and others but won't get into trouble. But when it comes to the rest or us, to Bora-Bora we go! Since "You'll never win anything". We can't win everything right? |

QUOTE(maxkiller @ Sep 23 2013, 12:36 AM) That's what I was trying to say. Putting smalling, again a fast opponnent like Man City was a mistake. As for young, I don't remember when was the last time he did play well for us. Maybe 2-3 years ago? I never trusted Smalling tbh. Every time I see him playing, I always have a bad feeling. Oh well, we missed Rafael more than ever now. |

Cannot deny the fact that losing to our noisy neighbours is damning but I felt our play was disappointing. The first half, our midfielders were running around like headless chicken, totally outclassed by City. Second half, was expecting a better performance, no it didnt. Same toothless performance again. Rooney played his heart out, I really admired his passion. The rest of the team let themselves down tonight. No doubt Young should have NEVER started after his god knows how many rubbish he put on and yet he gets the nod over Nani.
I understand if Kagawa doesn't get to play due to the physical nature of the game. City's players are bigger and more physical and Kagawa is rather timid and chances of him getting overpowered is high. But he wouldve made the difference thou. Still early in the season, there is time to buckle up and catch back. 2 defeats from 5 games is not a good sign but I believe Moyes will turn it around, soon. Bad day in the office for the lads. Sigh. |
