do you intend to apply uob one mainly for petrol cb? if yes, you need to understand that they have a monthly allocation of rm900k first come first serve basis. usually this allocation will finished by the 13th of the month. any pump after that will have 0% cb.

why don't you just send in your latest payslips and request for permanent increase of cl? threaten to cancel only if you want them to waive the af or absorb the gst.

as per above, you get the cb credited in your statement month.

however, there is another t&c which is the petrol cb allocation of rm900k per month on first come first serve basis. usually by the 13th of the month, the rm900k petrol cb allocation will be finished. although you have not max our petrol cb (rm25 or rm15) for that month, but you will get 0% cb due to the allocation is finished.

may i know if you add up your petrol transactions from 1st to 13th, is it still 5% rebate?

with the 900k allocation, basically your 5% cb is until 13th of the month only. after 13th most probably 0% cb already. can you double confirm by checking your statement rm16.37 cb for your transactions from 1st to 13th?

yeah, exactly what i'm doing now, just that i'm also using hlb wise (after 13th) on weekdays besides mbb2amex on weekends.

yeah, based on our experience the average is 1st-13th. unless there are more new card holders to fight for the allocation then maybe earlier than 13th. but on the other hand, if there are more people cancel their card, then it may be longer than 13th.

yeah, actually the 0.9% comes from bhp ecard in which doesn't related to uob one card and cannot be counted as uob one card benefit.

we have highlighted many times earlier that uob had amended their t&c adding a monthly allocation of rm900k first come first served basis for the 5% petrol rebate. basically, based on our many months experience, the allocation usually finished after 13th of the month. you may check the 5% of your total petrol spending from 1st to 13th and compare with the cb you received.

you may use uob one from 1st to 13th before shifting to citibank cb from 14th to end of the month. so have you checked whether the total cb is correct if calculate from your usage from 1st to 13th?
